Hi there. I sure hope you had a good weekend. Ours was busy yesterday picking up the tree limbs from the storm we had. Glad they are gone. I don't mind thunderstorms but I can do without the high wind and the hail we have been getting. Been a nice day today but kind of humid and a chance for storms later today. I hope they will be kind to us. Went and ate lunch with my hubby today. Need to go and get a tire fixed on my car. I've tried twice to go to the same place and no one was there. Yes, my burden is light even at work. I love our clients. Friday as I was ready to turn off my computer, the phone rang. What joy I left the office with after visiting with this long time client.
Yes, every day there are many blessings. To be able to work and help Kelly and our clients always puts a smile on my face.
You never know what someone else is going through. So I always try to find something positive and uplifting to say to them.
Sunday is for refueling because you never know what the week will bring you or what you might be going through either. So rest up and be ready for anything!
Yes, this is late today... because we got RAIN!!! Blessings from Heaven!!! We got almost 7/10" in just over 30 minutes. Oh my, did we ever need it. We still have very large cracks in the yard, but all the plants got a drink and my buckets were replenished.

Well we had a bad storm in the night. We had horrible high winds, hail, and lots of rain. More tree limbs are on the ground in the front yard this time. And they aren't small tree limbs either. We were without electricity for most of the night until 10 this morning. And we have a chance for storms tonight. I would rather get rain than the wind and hail. Well enough about my weather. We got a good rain last night, 2 1/2 inches. We have a chance for more rain tonight. I was getting ready to take out the trash earlier and opened the front door and it was pouring down rain. So I had to wait until it stopped raining to go to the dumpster. The sun has been trying to come out and I sure hope it doesn't . That will make for a humid day if it does. A cool front came through last night and have made the day very nice, except we have a chance for thunderstorms later today and into tonight. Hopefully they won't be bad. Had a nice time last night and the family get together at my sister in law's house. Got to watch the kids and some grown ups pop fireworks. Just tired today from staying up late. The 4th of July is finally here. Firework sales have been very, very good this year.
Every night the sky around our house has been lit up. And there have been lots of cities that have had celebrations on different nights.
There are flags flying everywhere. The Rotary Club in Rockwall puts flags out and takes them up on every holiday for those that pay to have a flag in their yard or subdivision.
There are parades and parties going on everywhere too. Some pets don't seem to mind the loud noise and fireworks or even dressing up.
Wherever you are, I hope you ate lots of good food and had fun with others! The party is almost over! Now it is almost time for me to get ready for work again.
But I will probably be wearing red, white, and blue the rest of the week. Happy 4th of July on this wonderful Independence Day!
Good afternoon to you. Its warming up to another hot and humid day. I already have the air conditoner on. My husband and I worked out in the yard most of the afternoon yesterday. We were cleaning up the tree limbs from the wind storm we had a week ago. It was a hot and humid day yesterday. We usually go and get groceries on Sunday evening and eat out. But we didn't last night as we were tired and sweaty from working in the yard. Do you have anything planned for the 4th? We do, we are going down the street to Tony, my husband, sister's house for eating out in the yard and then watching the younger ones pop fireworks later after it gets dark. I'm just taking it easy this afternoon. I did go to Walmart and get the stuff we needed since we didn't go yesterday. Enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care and stay cool.
