Good evening Connie. Yes it's been quite a while. I know that you are a busy lady. I too have been busy getting ready for the winter to come. My car shelter is not up yet but my friend told me today that he'd be over next Monday to put up the structure and the next day for the tarp. Yesterday my car got winterixed. Oil and filter change and winter tires put on so car is ready now. My girl friend was doing some raking today and we put the stuff in bags and outside the gate for pick up. It was a sunny, hot day in south Louisiana and my wife Geralyn and I enjoyed going to the International Rice Festival in Geralyn's hometown of Crowley, Louisiana. The town is noted for their production of rice and always has a large and fun-filled festival at the end of harvest season!
Can't believe Oct. half over . Just found out my 59 year old daughter has lung cancer. So don't know how often will be here. Not that I get here as much as would like. Have blessed weekend. Hugs Helen
