Happy Friday Pam - It's a beautiful day here Pam - about 72 lots of sun and all around pretty. I ran the vacuum while Rich mowed the lawn so things are clean inside and out. Am thinking I'll stay home tonite instead of going out to the Moose - don't feel up to sitting there for 5/6 hours. Got up this morning and was still tired so I went back to bed for another 1 1/2 hrs. I really didn't want to vacuum, but I knows the place needed it cause of for no other reason because of the dog. So what have you been doing all day and what are your plans for tonite and for the rest of the weekend? If we aren't asked to play dominoes, I guess we'll go to the CPOA with his brother to watch the football game. Have no idea who is playing and it doesn't really matter as we go to eat out and for the comversations. Have a good rest of the day and tonite. Hugs, Wendy
Hey Pal, well how were the wings at wing nite? It's good the PT lady can come to your home for Rich. Did you have the same thing afer your hip replacment? No weekend plans here. Tomorrow night our team will play and hubby is going to grill some burgers so I'll get the night off. Need to run pick up some scripts later today from the pharmacy and get my little dog a flea treatment. Warming up some here but still very pleasant. TGIF. Enjoy your Friday!
good morning Pal, I have a binder full of recipes I printed off too. I started doing it years ago at work, before I had a printer at home. I would use their hole punch as well. Now I have all that at home and enjoy being able to print things when I need to. When I make dumplings I use chicken thighs or leg quarters, really whatever I have on hand. It's cheaper to buy the packs of pieces than the whole hen I've noticed. I used 7 kinda large thighs this time. I make the Bisquick drop dumplings. The recipe is 2 cups of Bisquick and 2/3 cups of milk. I use a tad more milk than that because the dough seems a little dry to me. When I have time I will roll out the dough and cut the dumplings in to strips with a knife. That's how Mama made them except she didn't use Bisquick. I don't prefer the Mary B's frozen or the Annies brand either. I've seen them made with canned biscuits too, by cutting each raw biscuit in to quarters and dropping them in boiling broth. Hope your Thursday is good. Catch up with you soon. hugs from me, Beth
Here we are on Thursday waiting for Friday and the weekend. Do you have plans?
I went out early and picked a Dandelion bouquet to share with you. Every part of the dandelion plant is a healthy herb.
Then I harvested some lavender. Now it is time for some coffee and to sit and read my book for a while.
Maybe I will go for a bike ride when the temperature warms up a little.
One of my favorite spots is down by the stream this time of year to watch the leaves in the wind and just listen to the water drift by. Hope you have a fun day planned too.
I hope you will call every day to see if they have a cancelation!

Just got a call from the surgeon saying I had an appointment at 2:30 today. I told them I never got notified I had an appointment. I even called my doc yesterday to see if they scheduled me for an appointment and they never called back. My new appointment is for Nov. 1 at 1pm. So who knows when my surgery will be now as the last doc wanted it done before the holidays. Nothing going on here today - will go out later this evening for a meeting at the Moose. Hope you are having a good day - it's another nice day here. Hugs, Wendy
I hope all is well with YOU and you enjoy the last Autumn-Days.
Here since one week itβs cold here, the temps are below freezing. Brrrrr!! - My PC ever and ever given up, thatβs why Iβm not often online, but Iβm always thinking of YOU!
Good afternoon/evening to you. We got back from our trip on Sunday night at 10 pm. Had fun but its always nice to be back home. Tony(my husband) has been off from work this week. Its his vacation. So he has been doing things around the house. A cool front came through here this morning and its a nice 73*. I hope you are having a good week. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day. Oh, before I forget I have posted some new pictures on my page. Hugs, Cheryl
