Hello Pal, I know you'll be glad to get the surgery behind you. Praying for you daily. Glad the Motrin is helping you. I stopped taking Ibuprofen as frequently as it's rough on your stomach but it's still my pain reliever of choice. Is it nice and cool up your way? It's been in the 40s the last 2 nights ere and it feels so good. The leaves are falling too but not much color yet. My son and his wife just returned from New England last week and they were only starting to get color when they were there. They had a nice trip and did some apple picking while there. Nothing much going on here. I've been doing laundry and put some chicken on to cook for dumplings later. I run out of ideas what to make sometimes. I have a dentist appt this evening (my dentist is mostly retired but opened 3 evenings a week) I don't like going late in the day but this should be the last appt. for a long while. good morning Wendy, sorry your Fri. night was ruined by people's thoughtless actions. Hope he apologized to you by now. Has your appetite picked up? Did the colonoscopy show anything else? Yes I went to lunch with the girls on Fri. We went to Longhorn steak house and it's pricey so we ordered off the lunch menu and got soup and salad. It was very good. We shopped at Target afterwards, they like to go there because they have cute clothes for teens. We got a pumpkin spice frappe at Dunkin Donuts on the way home. On Sat. me and hubby went to the local Pumpkin festival and that was fun. It was very crowded and there were more booths and vendors there than I ever remember before. There were lots of food trucks too but we ate at a sidewalk cafe that does Italian food. Good thing we found a shady spot to sit, it was quite warm that day. I bought a few odds and ends like the little boy and girl Publix pilgrim S&P shakers. (to match the mama and daddy ones I have already) and a floral arrangement centerpiece for my table. Only spent $20 the whole time and that's not bad. We got home soon after our game started on TV and finished watching it. We beat Syracuse by a big margin. That's all my news.
