good afternoon Pal, well you had it almost as hot as us down here in FL, huh? It's been miserable but thankfully we got a nice cooling shower last evening and the garden was glad to get it too. First day we didn't we have to water everything in a long time. Yep it's crazy how much extra they charged you to hand stamp the cards you mailed. Every time I mail my granddaughter a pkg it's shocking what it costs. Sometimes the shipping is more expensive than whatever I'm sending her. I couldn't find the email link for the clocks, sorry. Maybe you still have it and can resend it? Have a good Tuesday and keep cool!
We had a cool front and dropped temperatures about 10°. So this morning we are 74 instead of 81. We will have 2 days in the 90's. Friday we are supposed to be back to 107-108 range with higher heat indexes but hopefully only one day that high. We still haven't had any rain but cooler temperatures and rain will come soon for all of Texas. Gotta get ready for last day at work. Love Ya!

It had to go for blood work and then I went tothe post office to mail my granddaughter a late birthday card. it was one that I had made and knew she would love it. It only had a little plastic peice on it and it cost $1.40 as he said it was over the weight. I wanted it hand stamped and not to go thru the machine so it would tear up the design. That's just nuts to charge that. Friday I went and mailed out another homemade card and wanted it hand stamped and they charged me either 40 or 60 cents extra just to stamp it in red. Now that was way crazy. Hope you're making out ok with the heat in your area - at least we are getting a break for two days - going down to 86.
