Good afternoon to you. Its another hot and humid day here today. Went to Walmart this morning to get the stuff we needed, then came home and got the air conditoner going. Been in the living room where the air conditoner is keeping cool. I have fans circulating the air to the other rooms so it isn't bad. I hope it isn't to hot where you live. Not much else going on. Hey Pal, hope you have a good trip to the casino and that you win something! Sounds like a fun day. We are starting to dry out more and the heat is on too. We are under a heat advisory the next few days. My SUV is back in the shop. They fixed the AC but it now is having issues with the power steering. I guess it will be one thing behind another with a vehicle that old. Trying to hang on to it and make do as I don't need a car payment. Hoping to go to the beach next month with my son and his wife. They have a place reserved that has a pool. They will have their 2 dogs but if we go I'll find someone to care fo rmine. Probably my brother and his gf as they are right next door. Happy mid week!
Good afternoon to you. Its a very hot and humid day here today. Its 88* and feels like 95*. We are in a heat advisory until 9 tonight. I sure hope my husband is staying cool at work. He works in a shop with no air conditoner. They do have a great big water cooler so that will help. I don't like all this humidity we have been having lately. I know its from all the rain we have been getting. But we haven't had any rain since last night and it wasn't very much. But there is water standing everywhere. Hey Pal, haven't been on the Hill much lately. Finally returning comments. Glad you are not having to cook in this heat. Enjoy it, I say! I know you'll be glad to get the bathroom fiinished and it will be nice when you do. We've had 5 plus inches of rain here in the last week and it's been so soggy and muddy. The sun was out when I got up this morning and I was so thankful. Even it it makes it steamy, it still needs to shine and dry us out here. My brother (who lives next to me) got a new Dashchund puppy over the weekend and she's adorable. They named her Sadie. She's 8 weeks old and is so tiny. Meant to say, yes I've had Brunswick stew many years ago. I've never made it though, only had it in a restaurant. It's pretty hardy and filling as I recall. I made a big thing of Tuna Pasta salad this morning and have it chilling. Hubby and I have been eating cold pasta for lunch and it's good in this Summer heat. I had an ultrasound yesterday but the results were negative so I'm good to go. Hope your tues. is good!
Hi there. I sure hope you had a good weekend. Ours was busy yesterday picking up the tree limbs from the storm we had. Glad they are gone. I don't mind thunderstorms but I can do without the high wind and the hail we have been getting. Been a nice day today but kind of humid and a chance for storms later today. I hope they will be kind to us. Went and ate lunch with my hubby today. Need to go and get a tire fixed on my car. I've tried twice to go to the same place and no one was there. Yes, my burden is light even at work. I love our clients. Friday as I was ready to turn off my computer, the phone rang. What joy I left the office with after visiting with this long time client.
Yes, every day there are many blessings. To be able to work and help Kelly and our clients always puts a smile on my face.

Sunday is for refueling because you never know what the week will bring you or what you might be going through either. So rest up and be ready for anything!
Yes, this is late today... because we got RAIN!!! Blessings from Heaven!!! We got almost 7/10" in just over 30 minutes. Oh my, did we ever need it. We still have very large cracks in the yard, but all the plants got a drink and my buckets were replenished.
Hey Pal, what have you been up to? Still hot as a firecracker here. We had a bad storm yesterday and rain coming down sideways. My front porch got soaking wet. The girls came and spent the afternoon. We went to the Dollar store and got a small birdhouse and some sunflower seeds and snacks. I made them some spinach tortellini for lunch and they had Bluebell ice cream for dessert. DId you have a good Fri night with friends? I guess things are almost back to normal with your floor being repaired. Hope your weekend is good!
