Three hours sleep + 2 more. Now our family is gone. I was still texting at 2:15 am and awake at 5:30, with a nap until 8 am.
There are no words to tell you how much fun Rbt and I had visiting all day yesterday with Amy. Denise is like my daughter and we adore Logan and his girlfriend Megan.
Carly had so much fun with Logan and with Megan too. They would play tug-of-war and where did the toy go? So now with College Baseball on TV, it is time for us and the dogs to take a nap as they are on their 7-8 hour trip to South Texas and home to Alice.
We both know I probably won't nap anytime soon. But what a wonderful day off and weekend.
Good afternoon to you. Its not a bad day here today a little on the warm and humid side. We got rain early this morning so that didn't help. We have been enjoying the rain. Supposed to get more later today. Our yard needs mowed pretty bad. But the mower isn't working. My husband has been working on it every evening when he gets home from work, but so far he hasn't found the problem yet. Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. I am off today because my best friend since 3rd grade is here visiting for a couple of nights! It is a perfect 4 leaf clover kind of Friday!
There will probably be a lot of sitting around and talking about all kinds of things in this world that are going on now with our family and our friends over the years.
There will probably be a lot of flowers and garden talk and sharing of plants that we love.
So much to cover with Amy since it has been a while since we have been together to just talk about whatever crosses our "come and go" memory nowadays.
But when the day is over, we will have made new memories to cherish together and be grateful for our 65 years of being friends.

I havent' been there in ages. I sure love their salad bar. Hope you don't need the electric scooters much longer but it's good that Rich can be with you and help you back up. lol. What is it that you have to scan for the groceries? Is it like an app on your phone? Hope your Thursday is good. We have rain on the way and it's already cloudy.

Hi Anne - hope you are having a good Saturday even though you might not be getting this. I was in all day but the good news is I graduated from a walker to a cane but am getting around the house without it. Went out Friday nite to the Moose - sure was nice to see all my friends. good morning Pal, glad you got to go the ceremony at the Post. Sounds like a nice day and yes, so essential to teach the kids about such things. I put onions in my squash too, they don't have much flavor without that. Hubby didn't use the right fertilizer concentration on ours and consequently they didn't do as well with the quantity produced. How did the trip to the store go with the electric cart? You should have seen me in one when I had foot surgery! I felt like I was going to run over/back over everyone in my way. haha. At least they beep when you back up...good thing too! lol. Off to pick up some scripts from the pharmacy in a bit. They keep texting me they are ready. Looking for us some June calendars today. Happy Wednesday!
