What are your favorite smells? Coffee is one of mine. However, the smell of the seashore brings back some fun memories too. Unless there are dead fish!
Where else can we drift off to that a specific scent would bring back good memories?
We could gallop through a field of flowers in the country! Wouldn't that be fun?
From the wide open spaces to the waterfalls in the forest. That sure has a unique scent to it too.
And yet, not all water smells the same. Rain has a scent of its own and we have had lots of rain lately. As I think to myself, What a Wonderful World.
No matter what your favorite scent is or your favorite memory, the coffee is always on and you are always welcome to stop by. When will you be here?
I have been asleep early the last 2 nights and tomorrow is my day off. Then back to work Friday. I have laundry, bills to pay, yard needs to be mowed but it might still be too wet, groceries to buy... and probably a hundred other things to do tomorrow. I went out for the first time today as I had a doc app with my primary care - it was made upon my discharge. It was stupid as I saw the PA, who I always go to anyway, but there was nothing that they could do - all she did was look over my discharge to see if any new meds were order - and they were. Waste of my time and money and a money making thing for them. Stopped at the Coast Guard base tog et baby asprin - should have been taking it upon discharge but didn't know it. They didn't have any so we stopped at DG and got it there. I was hungry, so we stopped down the street for sosme lunch. While there, we called to see if we could get hair appointments - she took us right away. Rich needed a much overdue haircut and I needed mine washed - can't bend over in the sink to do it and can't take a shower till the bandage comes off Thurs. Can't wait to be able to take a shower!! I did really good and while out and hope I tired myself out so I can sleep tonite. Was up from 3 to 5 last nite. If you have to work sin the AM, I hope your day goes smoothly. We were out of town on Monday, went to see our son on Tuesday morning and when I got home I was to tired to leave comments. So here I am finally. Had a rain shower early this morning. Good morning Pal, I saw the pics of food you posted. It all looked really good. So nice to have thoughtful neighbors like that. Yes, I had a good Mother's Day. Hubby and the kids gave me some gift cards. Sat. we went out for an early dinner and yesterday the guys cooked on the grill. My son made a cream sheese pound cake too.
