We have made it halfway to the weekend... and so have all our animals.
You knew I would start with the giraffes, didn't you?
Would you look at the ears on that Zebra baby! Our dog, Reba, has kinda big ears and they have turned almost completely white with age.
Now who can resist that sweet face and the beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon. I love visiting that place.
Even cats are happy with all their silliness to have made it to Wednesday. That is just plain cute.
What do you mean it is only Wednesday? How far away is the weekend?
I got a call at 7:25 am Wednesday morning to go to work. I am already scheduled to work Friday and have no idea if I will work on Thursday or not until the girl that is out lets me know. But the $ will come in handy when we have to pay for over 100' of new picket fencing to be replaced.
Dearesr Wendy my sweet friend, wish you have a beautiful day filed with much love and joy in your heart. Thank you so much for your concerned on Me. I feel better now but got busy for my upcoming Birthday this coming Sunday May 7. I would like to invite You , I want my friends are here on my special day. With all my love and respect to you.
Good afternoon to you my friend. I got all caught up in doing a Lego kit and decided to was time to take a break and leave some comments on here. Its a beautiful day here this afternoon. In the 70's, a little breezy and partly cloudy. I got my pictures put up on my photos on my page that you can look at. They are of the shirts I tie dyed. I like how they turned out. Well enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care. Lots of hugs to you, Cheryl
good morning Pal, love the pics you added to your page. Well I know that was aggravating about the stress test. I had one before and they did tell me to be NPO and immediately after the test they gave me a regular coke to drink. I will get an awful headache without caffiene in the mornings. Guess I'm addicted! Glad the F3 tornado didn't affect your area. Those storms are terrifying. We don't get them often either, thankfully. Usually the worst ones are in the midwest, like you said. I do believe the one that hit nearby passed over us (without touching down, thankfully) because there was huge tree limbs down everywhere on the road I live on. None in my yard but my brother had enormous oak tree top break off and land on his hen house. The hens were fine, fortunately. He has a friend keeping them in her brood pen till he can get a new one built or purchased. Yes, hubby planted the potatoes on Feb. 20. Cooked some last night with salt and butter. So yummy. Its cool and sunny here, just delightful Spring weather and I wish it could last forever. Happy mid week! huggies, Beth
Good afternoon to you. Its a pretty sunny day here today. And up in the 70's. I got some wildflower seeds planted in a pot outside. Now I just have to wait for them to grow. I got me a couple of white shirts to tie die here in a little bit. They are in the washer right now. Hopefully they will turn out pretty. Not much else going on. Guess I need to get things set up in the kitchen to color the shirts. Take care my friend and I will post the pictures on my photos tomorrow after I get done rinsing them and getting them dry. Take care and many hugs to you, Cheryl
Here you come again, just when I'd begun to get myself together.
Now sing that all day... and think of me!
Maybe a little chocolate cake with your morning coffee will help start the week off right! I prefer Braum's Cherry Pie with my morning coffee.
Gosh we miss Miss Kitty! Yet, since she had a leakage problem, I haven't worn shoes in the house since she went to Heaven to wait for us. Always look for the positive in every situation.
Besides, as often as Mondays seem to come around, so do the months and years. Do you remember 1978? OFTEN, I still think of myself as this thin, energetic, able to do anything person. Boy, do I look tall there too!! All those boys are WAY taller than those two Moms are now.
Time sure does fly whether we are having fun or not. However, there is lots to be thankful for after all these years. Julie (my friend in Lubbock) and I have been friends for a very long time and have wonderful memories. I hope you take time on this Monday to remember friends and family and to give thanks!
Hello Pal, well Sat brought more rain and storms but thankfully it was a light rain and the garden seems to be okay. You asked about the potatoes producing. What I meant was they were starting to be ready to dig because the plants are making well. Hubby dug some over the weekend and they are so purty. Haven't cooked any yet because I did a Taco casserole thing I made up. lol. Maybe the new officers that got elected will do a good job. It's kinda crazy that all new people got elected, huh? Today is sunny and cool and hubby is doing an odd job for some friends that needed work done at their house. I'm glad he's able to help. He's been kinda at loose ends since retirement. Happy Monday. hugs from me
