Are you ready for the weekend?  I think I am even though I don't have a clue what will happen.  

All I know is that if there is sunshine, I will be outside enjoying every minute of it.  

I will be on the lookout for hummingbirds.  Our latest cold snap seems to have them hibernating because I have not seen them.  Ok, maybe I was hibernating!  

Whether I am outside or just walking past the windows, I am always on the lookout for hummingbirds or butterflies or birds or anything else that moves in the yard.  

I also like to walk the front and the back just in case there is a new flower that has bloomed or some new plants that have popped up out of the ground.  

I know green roses are rare but it is probably because if I had one, I would think it was a weed and pull it up.  Wouldn't you?  Ok, as much as I hate pulling weeds, maybe I wouldn't pull it up.  

Now let the weekend begin!  Hey Zoo, here we come!

Its a very windy day here today and cloudy. Had some rain in the middle of the night, so that was nice. I have enjoyed the rain we have gotten this week.How is your day going? I went to Walmart this morning and got a few things we needed, and got a few things we didn't need. Well enjoy the afternoon my friend and the weekend. I plan on being lazy this weekend. Hello Pal, well how did the election go this time? DId the same people win as before?  We had awful sotrms move through yesterday. Our power was out only briefly but we realized our lamp wick was burned up and mostly gone so will need another one before hurricane season arrives.  That old lamp is our stand-by in power outages. My phone went off 3 times telling me to take shelter immediatedly due to tornadoes in my area. Thankfully they weren't super close. One was on the ground in the county next to me where My niece lives. She and the baby weren't home at the time though and their house is fine. It mostly ripped up some trees and did damage a few houses.We got tons of rain and praying our little garden didn't drown. It looks okay this morning but the potatoes are starting to produce and we may have to dig them early.  Hope your weekend is good. Meeting the girls later to go to lunch. love n hugs, Beth

Work, work, work.  I love working part time.  I really wouldn't want to work more than I do but then the money sure comes in handy too!  

Whether I am working or home, inside or outside, there is NOTHING like sunshine.  Good ole Vitamin D.  This year sunshine has been hard to come by, just cloudy, dreary and rainy weather.  

So whether the sun is shining or can't be seen, whether it is day or night, be sure your Light is shining.  

But don't forget about your Love toward others too.  That means saying something nice to those you encounter.

Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its been a rainy day here. The rain started sometime in the night and its still raining here. It sure is a blessing for us. Went up and saw my son today and his girlfriend. Had a good time. Now back home and I have all my housework done. Got that done before I went to see my son. Hello Pal, well it sounds like you made a good supper using up leftovers. It's thrify to to to that, esp with everything so expensive now days. I can't believe what we spend on groceries and then ti doesn't even last week. I made a new recipe last night. It was a hamburger/tater tot casserole.  It was pretty good I guess, not the healthiest choice but anyway it was something different.  We've been getting rain almost daily  here but it comes late in the day. We have more on the way for tomorrow too. Did I tell you the big fox is coming around again? We've been seeing him in my yard and he's so bold and not too scared of my pets.  He or she probably has babies nearby.   I've never heard of a money tree before but if it grows money I need one. lol.  Well it was nice that the GF thought of you and sent a gift, anyway.  Have a good mid week, Pal. huggies from me
