pizza, steak red wine, Angel Food cake, Penut butter cups, Mozzarella w Kosher Dills..
-as late, I have gotten into eating pretzles and crispy pig . Being on a low-salt diet,
FYI: I rub the salt off the pretzles. Just take the prtetzle sticks and roll them together like logs, or run them through the hold in a wooden clothes pin...

I was a "road-baby".
In 1939 a young Tenocha (Aztec) left Mexico and eventually found himself wandering the "Four Corners" area of the American aouthwest. In time he met and charmed a 16 year old Navaho girl... In the appropriate time as lovers know such things. I was was born.
Unfortunately mother Abayta and her baby both had tuberculosis. My father Raymond then left Utah and took his family to to Cragmor TB sanitorium in Colorado Springs, which sat in the hills facing Pikes Peak.
At that time Cragmor was affordable only by rich eastern clients. I know God had a hand in helping Raymond in getting his wife and chld accepted into the hospital --it was a feat .
In Feb 1941 when I was six monhts old, Abeyta died at the Sanitorium and my Raymond disappeared into Mexico..
Later when I was six years old, or so, My dad came back to Cragmor to see me. The memory is dim, I remember walking beside him, seeing a pair of wing-tiped shoes, brown slacks and my right arm being held straight upwards with him holding my hand tightly as we walked, He was talking to me I think --but I didn't understand a word.*
In the years following... *
Aug25: OK, lest shorten this:
(1)As a teen I wend to Holy Cross Abby, a catholic Benidictine shool. It was horrid and scary.
(2) As an old teen I did punky things and raced my car once at 102 mph right past a Highway patrool at the side of the road giving a guy a ticket (probably for speeding)... You know theres a big jail in Canyon City?
(3) As a just young man, joined the USN, went to Hell's Point in Diego. I kept rashing and they fianly found I was ALLERGIC to the Sea Air.. So, the TRANSFERED me to the USAF.
(4) Spend rest of my enlistment in the USAF in the ATC as AirPolice, etc. 3380th ABG
(5) Discharged in Biloxi MS Oct12,62 )(Honorable Discharge) and spend a whle running around between Californig and up and down Route66 in a Chevy Coup- with the back full of crackers, beer, clothes, other junk.
(6) Time at home (Colorado Springs), then went to School of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Mo. where you work your way thorugh and get an HS ed. I already had a Ged and a CO. HS Equivlancey, so I waited until SofO begain its College program in a couple years. This kept me here from 63-69 at wich time they got tired of looking at me and I left without my Associates.
(7) Went to Springfield Mo where I settled down and still live: Here I have worked in a bar, a hotel as elevator Opp and bouncer for their bar(1972) and becema an psychological aide (1972), a LPN (Grad 03/73)
Durring these years (74-94)After the trucking I woked several years in various Nursing homes and a hospital or two, either as an orderly, aide or nurse, Then worked here and there: as a taxi and shuttle driver, also an OTR truck driver, that's Hunts Points in NY and LA, Oregon, Washington, ... North and south into Cadnada and edging along the southern border.
(8) 92-94 saw me at SMS (Now Missour State U) to finish my credits and pick up a BA and while I was hanging on graduations, picked up some upper classes for the Masters in Writing... But, they got tired of looking at me also, and since my wealth didn't match their needs, I, and 20 or 30 other *Special students were given the boot. No degree again.
------------------------
*special student: A student older than the usual age of new just-out-of-HS students. There were many of us "Specials" in their mid 40s up to their 50s,who were asked to suddenly finish up their degrees or loose their student loans, we had one semster. I and many of these "specials" were in the midst of 06 level classes, and in the midst of thesis writing. sigh.

9) Spent from 04-08 14 years then working at the newspaper. In 2007-08 for couple months I came down with couple things: diabetic coma, septecemia, brain bleed, kidney failure. not at once, just close together, starting with the diabetes, then the brain bleed... etc, and other fun. I was forced to take an early, partial retirement from the newspaper.
10) Since then I have put in time in Business tech school, learning more computer skills and spent some ueefull time working as an Home Health Elderly Care Assistant, specialising mostly in end-of-life care.
{11) In Nov21,2009 started working for The "Kitchen" a food panytry (non profit) as a filing clerk. All I do all day is file the previous days, weeks client files. The office is very small, I mean usualy there are 2-3 or more people in it and not enough room to pass someone without touching them, or having to go out the back of the office, into the hall, andd coming back in through to the front. There are two chairs, one for anyone using the computer, and one in back to shair while one looks into the low file cambets
-- I left this orginization Dec17, 2009.
(12) Dec20,2010 I started working for the Stewart Head Start. It's a full, and part day care service for babies, toddlers and older children up to around 5 or so...
-- I workeded as a receptionist, a librarian, a bindery and repair worker. Also did time as a Hall, bathroom, and parkinglot cleanup guy. Around 1/3 of my time is cleaning, the other 2/3 is Receptionist, etc. duties.
I have to switch schedules between 20 or 40 hrs/wk..etc.
Its a 2hr bus trip both ways to and from, and 10 min walk. Nice in the fall, horrid in the summer, or we, won't mention winter.
-- My last day at the Head Start was June29, 2912.
We are now "At Leasure" again,
== July2, 2012

-Believe me, I try to make this as short as possible, but time passes and I have to add to it.. I have left most of it out [no online confessions here..) Yeah, we get old, and suddenly find we have done alot stuff, huh?

cats, little dogs, most animals, unless they try to eat me.
BEST OF ALL: Nice windy, rain storms, so long as the pump in the basement keeps working.
watching nature move around in our garden, butterflys, gorwing squash, corn, tall sunflowers, zenias, moon vines... etc.
I loke the tornadoes to keep away.

CUTTING GRASS...
and bullies, liars, the usual rat-brains.

1) Computer simulations, esp flying professionaly realistic software, such as Microsoft FlightSim,
2) Reading, writing poetry and fiction, Napping to prepair for serious sleep.
(*) Perhaps I'll get back into writing again. Watching the multitudes of bulk profusions of my genre thats on the book shelves, and the quality... well. perhaps I can write better, better than most, but probably not what the "reading" public is hot for. No sex, lust and all that... And an agent might help/
Getting started would be of immense help. You know, write the first word and keep on turckin'
