missed you
Posted On 10/29/2015 15:17:40

I want to thank all of you who have sent me birthday greetings.  I know that I missed some of my friends.  I will take this time to wish each one of you a Happy Birthday!  For some of you, I was in the states without internet for 2 months.  I also travelled 3,000 miles in one month while up there for the ministry.  We have started a new part of the ministry doing discipleship classes for the women in our local prison every Friday.  We have 7 women coming.  I am not looking for numbers but for women who are interested in getting closer to God.  That is what I see with these women.

Happenings in Honduras

I would like to update you all on what we are doing in Honduras.  We have finished a year of ministering to street children on Saturdays.  We started with about 15 childen and now have up to 25 coming with parents.  Now we are ministering to the whole family.  What a blessing that is reach communities for God.  We continue with the prison ministry and ministering to poor children through churches.  God has truly given us the ability to help others minister.

What a month

First of all, I want to let all of you living in the states know that I feel sorry for you.  I was in the states for 10days the first part of February.  I have lived in Honduras for 27 years and it was just too cold for me.  I have decided that I will stay in Honduras where it is warm.  I know there will be days when I would like some cool temperatures as they soar to over 110 and add a heat index making it more like 120.  Praise the Lord,  we have air in the bedrooms and the office and ceiling fans.

My step-mother passed away which is why I was in the states.  I spent some time with my father and family which was good.  I then returned to Honduras to get some ministry work done for the government.  That took awhile and I am still getting some papers done.  I just praise the Lord that we had warm weather when I got back to Honduras and I could thaw out.

God bless each of you.
