Seafood and beef. Mushroom Soup and Clam Chowder. Fresh tomatoes out of the garden. Asparagus from my local farmer. Fiddleheads and Leeks from the bush. Morels in the spring and Puffballs in the fall; Elderberry jelly; Thimbleberries; Blackcaps and Raspberries.
C'MON IN! COFFEE'S HOT! Mugs, sugar, teabags and spoons on the counter. Cream. milk and iced tea in the fridge. Cookies in the cannister.
SET A SPELL! Kick back, relax and listen to some music or read some poetry.
So nice to have visitors.

A farmer's daughter, I live in a century old farm house, in the hills of Historic Huronia. Ontario.

Twenty years as an antique dealer specializing in Canadiana, Art Glass; Pottery; China and Jewellery, with at one time 5 retail locations.
Six years data/tech support for mobile data devices including Blackberry.
I am currently on a LT disability leave.
I have more "bling" in my heart than most women wear on their fingers.
An unpublished author, I have written and illustrated two books of children's poetry. Love writing, but it doesn't pay very well.

Wildflowers. Wild Critters. My Cats. Making Wild Berry Jam. Sunrise. Sunset, Horses. British Columbia. Anything old. Wild orchids in the spring. Anything to do with a lake or the ocean. Waves slapping against the hull of a boat while I'm sleeping. Thunderstorms.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
Winter Storms, unless I'm inside in front of the fireplace with a good book and my cats. Anything containing shredded coconut.
