Also like more recent composers--Gershwin, Carmichael,Andrew Lloyd Webber .
I enjoy Broadway musicals and am a fan of Celine Dionne and Elvis -especially their sacred numbers. Also enjoy listening to the Three Tenors.
Favorite instrument is the violin.

Very fond of biographies, well written fiction.Not partial to mysteries or murder !!

I am a happily married "Senior" -with four children and Five grand children. Before marriage I was a Registered nurse and worked in a hospital in Vancouver B.C . Loved the work and stayed there until Gordon and I married . We then moved to Vancouver Island where our four children were born-and I was happy being a mom to them all.They are all away now -and we enjoy visits with them several times a year.

I like travel, music, live theatre, reading, knitting, walking , visiting with friends and family--playing Scrabble-- and trying to play golf!!Also enjoy a visit to the casino here-once a month to try my luck!!

Argumentive people-walking in the wind,parsnips-violent movies or T.V, cigarette smoke in my eyes, cooking when it is too hot, not having a good book to read!!

Reading, knitting,playing Scrabble,tending my roses in summertime and African Violets all year!
