Christ, family, friends, good neighbors, good conversation, a 'mess' of fresh vegetables, grandchildren, the South, porch swings, moonlight on the water, rain on a old tin roof, creaking screen doors, birds chirping, lapping waves, trees, a strong hammock, a good book and home. One more thing ~ Roll Tide Roll!

Very seriously dislike tree-murdering beavers (my apology to the late Captain Kangaroo).
Luv almost everything Southern, but for the life of me, can see no redeeming quality in 'mudding'.

Genealogy, lasagna gardening, bird watching, backyard astronomy, amateur photography, animation snags, crossword puzzles, cryptograms, etc. The aforementioned were my hobbies. However, due to inner ear problems, can seldom garden, observe the night sky, nor seek out prime spots for snapshots unless there is level ground.
Am still an avid genealogist, bird watcher, word enthusiast, and "snagger".
