Yes, today is my birthday, not my real birthday, but here on the Hill.  It was one year ago today that I joined NOTH.   I'd heard about the other social networking sites but thought to myself that I didn't want to be with a lot of "kids."  Now I'm here on the Hill and with "kids" my age! One year ago today I joined The Hill, unsure what exactly it was all about, but ready to find out. Learning new things is what I enjoy most, and The Hill has provided the most amazing learning curve, with all the facilities freely provided. Gorges, a Party, Meeting a NOTH member

Our 3-day weekend away from home held some interesting geographical highlights, as well as the party we went there to attend. We have a short gorge between our town and the next, only about 2½ miles long, but with a steep rock face dropping to the river. There are guard rails to prevent vehicles from actually going over the edge. The other side of the very winding road has steep banks.
