An open letter to Sarah Palin
Posted On 10/08/2008 17:03:58 by TouchedPainter
"Decisions that have been made for the last couple of centuries have been
decisions made without the presence of a real God....from the vision, not of
God, but of money."
--Tom P., MOHAWK elder

An open letter to Sarah Palin:

Daughter of the Earth ~

I speak from the heart of my indigenous grandmothers. I want to share my concern

Joe Biden and Sarah Palin
the Vice-Presedential Debate Oct 2, 2008 The VP debate is over and the pundits and spin meisters are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame. In their reviews and summations, almost none mention all the supposed facts that Joe Biden's got wrong! Completely wrong! Wrong Facts he tried to pass off as true and real. Newsweek Joins the Loonies

The racist Reverend Wright wanted God to "damn America." Jesse Jackson called New York City "hymie town." Verbal gaffs from the religious is not a new thing.
Newsweek's Wendy Doniger is reaching a new low, however, with her hate-filled rant in All Beliefs Welcome, Unless They are Forced on Other. Unsettling too, is that she is also the Mircea Eliade Distinguished Service Professor of the History of Religions at the University of Chicago’s Divinity School. One might expect some intelligence.... Read More

Elitism and Snobbery
Posted On 09/16/2008 11:50:58 by ingrid
There is more than sexism at work here in the Media vs. Sarah Palin. Elitism and snobbery are rearing their ugly heads. It seems people aiming for leadership positions go to ivy league universities, get law degrees, and generally keep their heads in those lofty towers -- far from the regular Tom, Dick and Harriet. They have no clue just how out of touch THEY are (like Obama) from every-day citizens on a budget and struggling to the right thing and provide the best for their kids. They live in qu...
