Quote of the Day: Take the Gloves Off
Posted On 10/07/2008 07:42:52 by ingrid

McCain loses — the first debate, that is. Blown opportunities? Let us count the ways: Obama says, without rebuttal, that his plan lowers taxes on "95 percent of working families." This is flatly impossible because 32 percent of income tax returns filed (some 43 million Americans) pay absolutely nothing in federal income taxes. ...  Obama says, without rebuttal, that his tax hikes only affect those earning more than $250,000. Yet when you consider his spending plans, and... Read More

A Well Written Letter
Posted On 09/27/2008 11:07:51 by lana52
I received the following in an email.  I have researched snopes.com, truthorfiction.com and several other sites and cannot find anything to validate the letter.  Although I generally agree with it's contents and will NOT vote for Obama, I question the validity of the writer.  If you will notice in the beginning of the letter he states he lives in Indiana.  Further down the letter he states he lives in Illinois??  I believe this is a fairly new email campaign and just wa... Another day, another low-road attack ad from a desperate McCain campaign.

Yesterday, John McCain released an ad with the same old false and discredited smears we've come to expect from his Karl Rove-style campaign.

We've put together a short fact-check video responding to the lies and arming you with the truth.

Watch this video response to McCain's false attacks and share it with your friends:

The truth about Obama and Taxes
Posted On 07/18/2008 01:15:53 by quickcrabb
The truth about Obama and taxes Lie: A rapidly spreading email is tricking thousands—if not millions—of Americans with outrageous lies and misrepresentations about Barack Obama's tax policies. The email has taken a few different forms, but the most common subject line says: “Important read - taxes INTERESTING DATA JUST RECEIVED ON TAXES” The email starts innocently enough, but the warning signs are there: Spread the word..... This is something you should be aware of so you don't get... Read More
