Sonnet XI   Not in a silver casket cool with pearls Or rich with red corundum or with blue, Locked, and the key withheld, as other girls Have given their loves, I give my love to you; Not in a lover’s knot, not in a ring Worked in such fashion, and the legend plain – Semper Fidelis, where a secret spring Kennels a drop of mischief for the brain: Love in the open hand, no thing but that, Ungemmed, unhidden, wishing not to hurt, As one should bring you cowslips in a hat Swung from the h... Sufi Prayer   Know the world from end to end is a mirror; In each atom a hundred stars are concealed. If you pierce the heart of a single drop of water, From it will flow a hundred dear oceans; If you look intently at each speck of dust, In it you will see a thousand beings; A gnat in its lines is like an elephant; In name a drop of water resembles the Nile, In the hearts of a barley corn is stored a hundred harvests, Within a millet seed a world exists. His heart his wound received from my sight: My heart was wounded with his wound... Read More

Being retired, I can't help but wonder why my time is at such a premium. Being in this hobby now for 30 years, I should be able to UL my WEB page using a FTP but the Boss (owner of notover) said it is not possible to use FTP. I think he can use FTP but doesn't want us to do that. Hopefully after I finish setting up my page, I will start v... Read More

Seasons Of My Life My life has been simple. No fanfare, no big accomplishments. I'm not famous or rich, or beautiful. I never made a movie or sang on stage. I'm just me, A simple country girl that grew up in the south. I ran bare foot up dirt roads and through green pastures. I had Great Parents who taught me right from wrong then trusted that I would be as they raised me.. I became a born again Christian when I was ten years old. God guided my Parents life and He has guided... Read More
