Love animated films, especially the older Disney flicks. Saw "War Horse". It was gorgeous, but the scene where the horse gets caught in the barbed wire horrified me. I know it wasn't real, but just the idea...

I like most music, but prefer classical...violin concertos specifically. I love Christmas Carols, and do not get tired of hearing them. In addition to classical music I also enjoy, Dixieland, DoWop, Folk Music (especially Peter, Paul, and Mary), the vocal groups of the 50's, and much more.

I love to read and never have enough time to do it, so I read in short 20-30 minute spurts when I get a chance. If I had to name a favorite book of all time, it would be "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I read and thoroughly enjoyed the entire Harry Potter series and was sad to have it end. I also enjoy the Mercedes Lackey Valdemar books.

It depends on my mood, I'm not sure I could settle on one thing...too many goodies out there, and too many calories. LOL

I use it to advertise my online classes and to enter contests. Otherwise, not a big fan.

Late in life I discovered I love to teach and I'm good at it. So, I teach beginner's classes for Corel Painter (a digital painting program) at an online school. I consider myself to be an instructor more than an artist. Although I can draw and paint, most of my students are much more talented than I am, and that's fine with me because I'm the one who teaches them how to use the tools they need to go on and "fly".

Racism and Prejudice (No, they are not the same thing, but they are related).

As "texting" continues to grow, I cringe at the plethora of misspellings and misuse of words, such as lose and loose, and your and you're (to name just a few). I see a lot of obvious "spellcheck" types of misspellings, for example, "quite" when the person meant to write "quiet", or someone tells me they recently had their dog/cat "spade" (Eek! Did the Vet do the procedure with a shovel?). Although there is nothing I can do about this, it continues to bother me...sigh...

There would be many more things on this list, but I never seem to have the time any more...where does it go?
