Was a nice 60 some degree day here with the sun shinning it felt warmer - just wore jeans and a long sleeved shirt. Spent a lot on groceries this afternoon and only bought one pack of chicken breast - under $7 and two packages of bacon for about $14. Total was over $116. Things are still crazy - can't wait for the SS increase - prices will probably go up so it won't help. Have a wonderful day tomorrow Chery.
Do you like reading books? I now enjoy a good Christian book, a Mystery, a feel good Romance (like a Hallmark movie), and a funny cute Comedy. However, I do tend to fall asleep while reading too. I don't know how many times I nodded off last night before I put my iPad away.
Hey Cheryl good evening - we are going from 82 today down to 60 tomorrow - we were supposed to get severe thunderstorms but it passed us by and went up North. I didn't do a lot today but was busy doing laundry and other things around the house and made a quick spaghetti sauce with frozen meatballs. I don't like them but hoping they taste better simmering in the sauce for 3 hours. You should take your petunias into the garage as it probably won't stay cold then put them out for sun when the wheather warms during the day. We left our hose attached last year and it was fine, but we don't have the cold that you do. Well, have a good nite and a fun Tuesday. Hugs, Wendy
Blessing this Sunday! All my teams won in College Football yesterday and early today we had a bit of rain. What more could you ask for, you say?! Cooler temperatures are on the way for most of this week. Yes, Saturday will be 89° again but most of the week will be wonderful temperatures. Hope you enjoy your week!
Good to be home after a couple of uncomfortable nites at the hospital. Home beds are so goo but didn't have a good nite - had foot cramps a couple times and the first thing getting after bed this morning. Hope tonite is better. Lost 10 lbs while at the hospital as I had nothing to drink or eat while he was in there. His daughterr drove us home and we stopped at Hardees and I couldn't even eat 1/2 of my burger - just got used to not eating. I'm sure I'll put it back on as it's mostly water. I did get into a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in a while, so that was good! Hope the last several days have been good one!
Saturday! Football, day off from work, laundry, defrost freezer... RELAX! At a near record (95°) day of 93°, we are excited about a chance of rain Sunday and Monday (none so far this month) and cooler temperatures.
