Had a full day - went to doctor's with honey, stopped to get fresh corn on the cob at a roadside stand which some kids had - then home for a bit before we met our Thursday nite friends for dinner.  We didn't eat as we were still ful from dinner.  Did get a little rain but still below what we need.  Will only be 85 tomorrow instead of 92.  Hope you are staying cool, MK.  Hugs, Wendy

Is there any possibility that August will be cooler?  We watered plants and then went to Costco, had lunch, and bought groceries.  It is just stupid hot!  

However, please let me explain.  I am NOT in any way wishing for winter.  But those of you that like it... enjoy the picture above.  

Now if anybody, anywhere has seen the rain, PLEASE send it my way.  We are already over 12" below normal and with these hot temperatures our grass is dying and large cracks are appearing in the yard and around the foundations.

Evening Vintagegirl, still hot here. Take care.  

It was 93 today but I was inside all day making a casserole for Sunday's dinner.  Got my days mixed up so I had to freeze it.  never did that before so I hope it turns out ok.  Filled on humming feeder as I need to make more more.  It'll be cool by tomorrow so I'll do the other then.  Can't reach the third one and I won't climb a stool anymore.  Hope your day was sparling!

Good afternoon my friend. I hope it isn't to hot for you. Its a warm day here. Its 91 here and feels like 97. Went to go get the mail earlier and its a warm day out there. I have noticed on my cucumber plant and tomato plant that I have some blooms on them. Got me all excited. I figured it was to warm to be getting any blooms, but I guess not.
