I am off today and it is almost mid afternoon! No wonder I am hungry. Where did the day go already? By the time lunch is over, it will be time for bed. OK, I might have fallen asleep very early last night.
My adopted granddaughter, who was married in our yard over 10 years ago, moved to Mitchell, South Dakota. They are there for a year and are trying to adapt to snow and COLD weather. She said they got 7" overnight and she has never seen that much snow at one time.
We are 78°, feels like 81°. It is very humid and probably a record yesterday and today. But then we set a record last January at -2° also. Personally I like our temperatures right now. Tomorrow will be a different story.
Can you say roller coaster? No matter the weather, I can't wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Deb, so good to hear from you. I hope you will share pictures of your precious Bentley. Nothing like a puppy!
The 80's are coming back! Woo Hoo!!! Ok, we will be in the 80's on Thursday and Friday; then Saturday will only be a high of 56°.
I am "dog tired" but I absolutely love my job and working for Kelly. All our Edward Jones clients are the best. It is so good to see some of them again (I have been doing this for 5 years now) and to wish them a Blessed and Merry Christmas.
I will be back soon as I get the knots out of my shoulders and a few bills paid before they haul me away.
Hi Deb - how was your day today? It was a busy one for us - getting up to get a parking spot so we coul attend Pearl harbor services at our local Veteran's cemetery. It's given every year by our post and is of course open to the public. The post had refreshemts so we went back there for a while, then food shopping at WalMart - crazy prices - no meats and was over 100$. Yesterday's temp was 70 and today in the 40's - weather is just as crazy as later this week it'll be 70 again. The weeather is just as crazy as food prices! Hope you have a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy
Snow all over the ground and the birds are so happy at the bird feeders around town. I am always happy they like to come to mine. For me I am enjoying a nice cup of eggnog flavored coffee to make my day even more special. May you continue to have a glorious pleasant week. Smiles Gloria
We have been dreary, foggy, and just plain wet with no rain for two days. Leaves are EVERYWHERE! And too wet to get picked up.
Definitely can't blow them anywhere. And here I am instead of paying bills or any of the 100 other things on my list that need to get done. We have friends supposed to come over tomorrow or I wouldn't even get dressed again until Monday!
At least our temperatures aren't cold. We started today at 62. We were in the mid 70's last week. Next week our highs are in the 50's, 60' and 70's. Just all over the place.
I have to get busy now. Don't know exactly when I will be back here but looking forward to hearing from you and how your December is going this year.
Christmas time of the season to send cards out and start baking those yummy Christmas cookies. To have snow coming down while doing this is an added treasure. Now where is my coffee cup soon to be filled with cherry Reindeer Blend from Caribou coffee. May you have a peaceful weekend. Smiles Gloria
A good day and happy weekend to you. Getting ready for a little cool down and rain for a few days. going in next week for a breathing test and biopsy on my lung where the cancer is to see if radiation or stronger chemo is needed. Taking a pill now but not really strong enough. Time will tell on what needs to be done. Share your smile with others.....George
Oh what a joy, not only to survive a week of working, but to finally make it to NOTH and see so many messages from such dear friends.
So I decided that I would come visit each of you first. Then I would read all the messages. When I got home each day, I thought I would make it here... but can you believe that LIFE got in the way. Seems like there was always something that needed attention.
I have missed everyone so much and have so many little things to do before tomorrow and then it will be Monday and back to work. I am going to get the hang of this work thing again. I am so blessed with a Hubby that helps a lot.
And look what I came home to after my first day at work. My hubby went to Costco and bought me "Orange Crush" Roses. I am beyond Blessed. Now y'all keep those precious comments coming and I will be back as soon as I can because your friendship means the world to me.
Had a good time at the FRA Christmas dinner last nite. Food was verry good and the place was decorated very nice by the vice president and his wife. Took a peice of prime rib that was leftover and made beef veggie soup tonite for dinner - ummm ummm good!! :). Hope you have a good day tomorrow and any plans you may have for the weekend. It's December already - I can't believe it. Just packed up the fall things and have yet to get the Christmas things down from the attic. Whso knows when I'll get to them!!! Enjoy tomorrow Deb and be safe. Hugs, Wendy
