Hard to believe it is Thursday and almost the weekend.  Next weekend the doorbells will ring a lot.  Are you ready?  

Do you dress up your animals, since most of us have grown kids... Or have you ever dressed up your pets?  

Have you ever thrown a Halloween party and decorated inside your house?  Or been to one where you were surprised when you went to the bathroom?  

Just thought I would throw in a picture of me a few years ago.  Now don't laugh, I was really, really thin at one time in my life.

Thankful Sunday!  Be sure to read the bulletin that I posted that Dove (Sue) shared with me.  

Boy, if we could just bottle a day like today.  We started at 43° this morning and should be in the mid 70's again today.  I like fall when the temperatures give us a break from the 90's and 100's ... but there is nothing like Spring when new life starts to appear and I know we are changing our time for more daylight.  

So, I'm off to enjoy the last part of this weekend and see what hasn't happened yet.  Hope you are doing the same as the Blessings & Hugs are being sent to you!

It is Friday and the weekend is in sight.  The winds are slowly shifting from S to W and soon N.  We are 78° now and "supposed" to be in the 40's for 3 nights in a row.  Then a week of 50's for lows and upper 70's for highs.  It will sure be nice weather for the last weekend of the Texas State Fair.  

In just two weeks we will "fall back" and it will be dark by 5 pm.  I really hate falling backwards.  Wish we could leave the time change in the "spring forward" mode forever.  

So are you almost ready for next weekend?  My girls would NEVER stand for this.  Well, if they knew a treat was coming they might.  

I have done my part.  I have changed from Pumpkins to Bats.  This picture doesn't do it justice because they change colors from iridescent blue to iridescent purple.  Bats are really good creatures.  

Share your smile.  

The wind just changed to the North and blew stuff in the entryway to the floor.  

Or the bats knocked it down.  I just can't decide.

The rain is gone and it is a misty, dreary day.  We are still a little warm and humid but cooler temperatures are promised for us in the next week.  Tropical Depression Pamela gave us 2" but areas (Kyle Kid included) got up to 5" of rain.  

This is the perfect weather for a nap even though I rarely take them.  My Hubby would say every day is a perfect day for a nap.  

I just don't seem to have much "get up and go" today.  But alas, we have errands to run.  So I best be getting in gear.

Hi Deb - hope you had a good 3 day weekend.  Went to the oyster roast at the VFW on Sat  - the turn out was good despite the heavy chances of rain.  An it poured - thankfully we were inside when it happened.    Went with our friends to a place in Va. to deliver their camper to be rented out for 2 days.  The went up today to bring it home and get it ready for all of us to camp on Sat. til Tues.  This will be our first time - hope it goes well.  Have a good evening andd a nice day tomorrow.  Should be rain free and a bit warmer than 73.  Hugs, Wendy
