Hi there. I hope you are having a lovely afternoon. Its a nice day here. Going to warm up to in the 80's. Don't know when the next time we will get rain. Hopefully it will be a while. My husband got the parts in for the mower so on Sunday afternoon he can put the new parts on the riding lawn mower and oh so hopefully it will start. A Happy Friday day to you. My goodness this week just flew by enjoying the moments of life. I am so excited for we should receive some rain showers today and for the next days. Well it did rain again today but it was early in the morning and by the time I got up, the sun was out. It was a nice day all day with temps in the high 70's and quite breezy. I didn't go out at all so I vacuumed and did a few other things around the house. We ate breakfast at 2 pm so dinner wasn't untill 8 pm - way too late to eat but we did it. Made meatloaf, fresh mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus. Fo some reason it took a long time to make this Have to admit the meatloaf recipe was a new one and I think I waited to chop up the onions till the last minute. Anyway it was good and I think I'll use the leftover meatloaf to make Sheppard's Pie since I also have a good amount of mashed potatoes. Have a good nite and a fine Friday. Hugs, Wendy
Loving all this rain we are getting today. Its been raining most of the day and its nice and cool out too. Sure beats the heat and humidity we had yesterday. How is your day going? Good afternoon to you. Its a hot and humid day here. I could sure do without the humidity. And if that isn't bad enough we are in a tornado watch until 10 tonight. I hope we get nothing but rain. I don't like the kind of storms that come with tornadoes. We don't have a shelter of any kind to get into if we get one. I would have to get into the bathtub or go to a church if one came. I try not to think about the bad stuff that could happen. I hope you are having a good afternoon and it isn't to hot where you are. I went and got a perm at 1 pm today. It feels so good. There wa no sun here today Pam. It started out cloudy then the rains came, soft at first then hard then it stopped then off and on for the rest of the day. The only thing we did wa go to the CPOA as it was French Fry nite an our friend cooks there. But the turn out was very low. We waited for an hour and 1/2 for Rich's brother and wife to come - they were at the vet's for a long time. We stayed till 7 and got some raw but cut potatoes to take home with me. I'll have Rich make hash browns in the morning and I'll boil and mash the rest for dinner. First time I'll ever make a dinner around mashed potatoes!!!
