Woke up to feeling much better this morning - went to bed earlier than I normally do but still it was late. Talked to my son for quite a while last nite. Richie's brother called as he does every morning sometimes twice and wanted to know if we wanted to go to breakfast again. Since I had been up an hour, we said yes, as always. Hoeny was wanting to make soem breakfast by that time anyway. he can't eat either right away after getting up. We had the special of chicken and dumplings that they make every Monday as it was almost noon by the time we got there. It was ok but I thought it was too gooey, but we wanted to try it - I won't get it again though. Will have the other half of the pork loin I made for dienner last nite and not sure what else besides my tomato salad. Have n other plans for today - hope you get all your chores done and I'll be singing Mamma Cass's song and will be like the bunny that leaves as I'm a late sleeper in the morning too. Hi there and good afternoon to you. Had a nice trip to see our daughter and grandsons. Now I'm getting caught back up on the laundry. Its always nice to go somewhere but even better to get back home. I'm tired today and look forward to a nap later. It isn't a hot day out today. Its 81* out but a little humid. We have a chance for rain today and tonight. Goodness it feels like fall is trying to come in . A smile is on my face. Cooler day and night temps and I am so happy. The tiger lilies are in bloom in the flowerbeds and they are the last flowers to show up as fall is trying to come in.

TCM Played Audrey Hepburn Movies ALL day...It was great to record some I didnt have in my DVR....Loved All the great Hair & Classic Cloths & Cars & Furniture.....Hope your Sunday & New week is great!! It's a quiet Sunday for me. Had lots of sunshine one minute then it poured for about 3 minutes then the sun was out again. Made bananna bread this afternoon - hope it turned out good - it's cooling now. Was gonna make an apple pie, but since I'm cooking and making dessert next Sunday, I'll do it then. My granddaughter turned 23 today - so I gave her a call. She was out in this heat watching her boyfriend play baseball. The vineland team is in the top 6. Oh to be young again, then again, mabe not. LOL Have a pork loin out for dinner - will have two veggieis t go with it. Have a blessed day, Pam.
Just a note to say hello and wish you a happy Sunday. Hope you are doing well and not having the heat wave in your area. It was overly hot here in Oregon last week with temps over 100 everyday, 114 was our hottest day.. Thankfully the temps dropped back in the upper 90's for the last several days but will probably go back up.

We hit a cool day today - it was 89 but still hot if you staayed out too long. I thouhgt it was still a nice day as there was a good breeze blowing . I had a good time watching th hummers eating and chasing each other. The were looking for their old feeder - that's where I hung the chimes - funny seeing that. They'll have to get used to it in a new spot on the porch. I had a lot of potatoes that needed to be used so I thought why not potato soup? Who cares what the tempp is outside, it's a cool 74 in here and honey loves soup any time of the year I have to say it sure turned out good - both of us had two bowls! Hope you friends had a safe trip home, it's always hard to say good bye to friends and loved ones but like you say, they will visit again. Did you know there were almost 14 hours of daylight today?
