Busy day for us today - got up early to attend Pearl Harbor services at our local cemetery give by our VFW post, which was real nice but short as it was a bit chilly here - in the high 40's after it was 70 yesterday. Then went back to the post for refreshments. Went to WalMrt after that to do our shoppig and not one peice of meat was bought and it was $110 - got pantry items and veggies - that's just nuts the total was so high. Hope you are enjoying working as much as you are . Guess it's a busy time of year. I haven't done any decorating inside and honey doesn't do anything ouutside since his wife died. I haven't been well for 5 days but am better as of yesterday so I'm hoping to get some things down from the attic and get going. No tree as we are going home for Xmas so really no need. Have a great Wednesday and leave a note when you can. Hugs Wendy
Snow all over the ground and the birds are so happy at the bird feeders around town. I am always happy they like to come to mine. For me I am enjoying a nice cup of eggnog flavored coffee to make my day even more special. May you continue to have a glorious pleasant week. Smiles Gloria
We have been dreary, foggy, and just plain wet with no rain for two days. Leaves are EVERYWHERE! And too wet to get picked up.
Definitely can't blow them anywhere. And here I am instead of paying bills or any of the 100 other things on my list that need to get done. We have friends supposed to come over tomorrow or I wouldn't even get dressed again until Monday!
At least our temperatures aren't cold. We started today at 62. We were in the mid 70's last week. Next week our highs are in the 50's, 60' and 70's. Just all over the place.
I have to get busy now. Don't know exactly when I will be back here but looking forward to hearing from you and how your December is going this year.
Oh what a joy, not only to survive a week of working, but to finally make it to NOTH and see so many messages from such dear friends.
So I decided that I would come visit each of you first. Then I would read all the messages. When I got home each day, I thought I would make it here... but can you believe that LIFE got in the way. Seems like there was always something that needed attention.
I have missed everyone so much and have so many little things to do before tomorrow and then it will be Monday and back to work. I am going to get the hang of this work thing again. I am so blessed with a Hubby that helps a lot.
And look what I came home to after my first day at work. My hubby went to Costco and bought me "Orange Crush" Roses. I am beyond Blessed. Now y'all keep those precious comments coming and I will be back as soon as I can because your friendship means the world to me.
What a blessing your hubby is to you. How nice, those roses. I love all your pictures.
Counting down to Christmas. After yesterday's football game I am having a slow and relaxing day today. still have lots of wrapping to do. Nothing like trying to wrap with the help of my 3 month old puppy, Bently. OYE! Hope the up and coming week is kind to you and God sends you many blessings.
I hope you have had a pleasant Sunday. I watched my church service this morning online, then ate a good lunch and started doing some reading. Have a good evening. Hugs, Nancy
Got chicken in the crockpot and watching a Hallmark Christmas picture. Need to get up and make dessert. Things have changed - each gal does both dinner and dessert this way we each get 2 weeks off. Not sure if I like it that way. It's a beautiful day here with lots of sunshine. Have a lovely day Pam.
I hope that you have a delightful weekend with good weather. I have some reading to do today and will watch my church servicce online tomorrow. Hugs, Nancy
