We're slowly warming up..cloudy, but sun is trying to peek out. Should see 40 by late afternoon. Of course, we have 2 more nights in the 20's..then hopefully this arctic blast will become a faded memory.
Good afternoon Pam We had snow here on Monday and it's been cold all week so it hasn't had time to melt it's supposed to warm up by next weekend then it's going to be in the mid 30*'s so not much of a warm up but we'll take it.Hope to hear from you soon. Hugs,Robert & Ceil
We live on 15 acres that backs up to my twin brother on his 15 acres...so in all it's enough for both him and hubby to hunt on in the Winter. Yes, we have tons of wildlife...whitetail deer, turkey, black bear, foxes and even wild hogs!
Back steps tell the story. I've been very careful navigating them.
View out back. The kettle is an old cast iron sugar kettle...used to make cane syrup back in the day.
We made a REAL snowman but should have made one sooner. It was hard to make one with the "crusty" snow.
There's a highway under there somewhere. lol. Thankfully traffic was minimal. Most folks had the good sense to stay home but there are the rednecks (US TOO) that will be out on four wheelers and such. haha.
Good Morning Pam, sharing some snow photos. By the way, it still hasn't melted! I feel like I woke up in a Christmas card. lol. 17 degrees at my house this morning. Someone in Canada left the door open. Haha!!
Birdbath full of snow near the woods.
Hubby trekking through the snow to check things out front.
It is a sunny, cold midweek for me. The sun is such a welcome sight. The little bit of snow we got is melting quickly even though the temperature is just in the 20s F. Went out to refill my window bird feeder a bit ago. I'm enjoying seeing the many birds eating at our diner outside the front windows. Very entertaining. Bill the Squirrel and his girlfriend, Bernadette, have their own feeder and they are a treat to see, too. Hope your day is wonderful and you accomplish all you intend to.
Hey Pam, yes we got snow here. I'm so excited. We got between 4 and 5". I posted several pics on facebook. You may have already seen them by now. I'll be sharing some here on soon. Have a good Wednesday and stay warm.
The rich do not need admiration nor succor. Help the oppressed, which in these times means to come to the aid of society's marginalized. “Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.” Ecclesiastes 4:1 NLT
MANY MANY TRANKS PAM FOR ALL THE GREAT MICE. ARE THEY GREAT: VERY COLD UP HERE FOR A FEW DAYS NOW AND I DON'T MIND IT A BIT. I saw all the snow on the news, In TX and Louisiana. I know all the people are excited who don't normally see it. Of course they aren't used to driving in it. Stay safe and warm and off the roads if it's bad at your house! We have a winter storm warning for our area. I hung out laundry in 30 degree temps anyway since the wind was blowing. lol. Wind chill in the 20s. I know it could be much worse. Happy Tuesday.
