Well spring actually has sprung today as we'll be close to 70! Isn't it wonderful? Wishing you wonderful weather and a day that's just right for you! Hugs, Nancy
Hi there. How are you? I'm doing good. Feeling sleepy this morning. Don't know why either. Maybe because its a cloudy day here with a chance of rain later. Not much going on,just getting the laundry going and got the dishes to do. I hope you have a great day my friend and take care. Cheryl
good morning Pam, we were forecast rain today too but so far havent gotten any. We are starting to be dry here too. The shrubs and flowers are so pretty this time of year. Hope your day is good even if you are splashing through the puddles.
Hi ya Pam. I know how you feel about getting the tree cut up and all the wood hauled away. Rich had one that blew over a couple years ago by straight line winds. He started to saw it up - it was about 17 years old, so it was decent in size. A friend came over to take the wood, but he ended up cutting 99% of the tree up. He was a lot younger than Rich!! He took most of it away, our neighbor took a few peices for his fire pit - he used to come over and take the fallen branches we picked up . Two huge stumps werre left and they disappeared one day! But the stump is left. It was the only nice tree in his yard. Made potato salad, macaroni salad, egg salad, chicken salad and cole slaw for dinner - was a lot of work for me but it all tasted really good. Hope you have a good rest of the nite and a happy hump day tomorrow. Hugs & smiles, Wendy
LOOKING GOOD. WE HAVE STORMS MOVING IN RIGHT NOW. IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG DAY. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

Well, as you can tell the tree is completely cut down. And the good news is our roofer took all the twigs and logs on Saturday to his mom's place because she likes to burn wood in her fire pit. Then around lunch time today our fence guy hauled off all the green stuff for a small price. Now on Wednesday, depending on rain, we found someone to come and use a stump grinder to finish the only thing left.
I just love all the light that comes in my window where my 12 orchids and 3 Christmas cactus are sitting. It makes such a difference in the yard too. I am constantly planting trees as they pop up in the flower beds to the yard and I really have too many so this was a true blessing.
I'm wishing you blessings for the rest of this week. It looks like we are going to get rain and storms this evening and more on Wednesday. I am working Wednesday so I don't mind so much.
Hi there. Its a rainy afternoon here. Been enjoying the rain as it is much needed here. I'm working on getting caught up on my laundry since we were out of town for the weekend. Had a good time seeing Kristen and the boys as it was time to celebrate their birthdays as both of the boys were born in Feburary. Didnt have any time to celebrate their birthday until this past weekend. The rainy day has made me sleepy. Hope you had a good weekend my friend and have a good rest of the day. Take care. Cheryl
Hi Pam, thanks for sharing the pics. The tree looked like a lot of hard work. I'm sure you were all glad to have that done. The Spring break pics look like everyone had a good time and looks like our beautiful FL beaches. They are a lovely family. We had a chilly weekend here, gray and overcast till late in the day. Sun popped out 2 hours before dark both days and yesterday we had a nice little rain early AM that helped wash off the pollen everywhere. Hope the new week ahead is good for you!
