A beautiful Monday day to you. I don't know why but I am thinking of pussywillows on this special day as one starts the week. Enjoying the memories of past days when the children were at home and they would bring back from the woods pussywillows for the family to enjoy during the first part of spring. Treasured memories!
I am busy doing the daily household duties off and on and think I need to have another cup of coffee and or tea to enjoy my day even more.Smiles Gloria

Have a very nice new week. It's a sunny day here but we are expectings some rain showers this week. I must start a new book today. Have sun dogsitting. Hugs, Nancy
good morning Pam, wow, you have 16 clocks? You must collect them. I'd say the 6 dogs will keep you busy for sure. We had a lovely sunny Spring weekend and I used it to repot several plants that had outgrown their pots. We have rain coming later in the week and we are starting to need it. Still getting used to this new time and will be for a week or so. Enjoy all the eggs and Have a good day.
Usually I do all time changes the nite before. This time I waited 'til I got up this a.m. First I have to dig out all the different instructions to get the time changes done (including several watches !) Why are they all different? (I ask plaintively). Just today I wanted a little extra sleep but no...... it was forward, forward, forward. Nice bright day heralding Spring to come.
been looking online for rain barrels..city is raising our bill by 3%..already pay $35 water and $40 for sewer system bond so not cheap, Used to have an old plastic can that caught rain off roof and used milk jug to dip in to water patio plants and used hose for rest of garden from outside tap, online barrels have spigots on them and are expensive..
I am so excited about Spring and moving all 18 of my clocks forward an hour. I love getting up before daylight and watching the sun rise (usually taking a picture of it). Isn't it amazing how we go from such cold temperatures and snow to horrid blowing winds and gray overcast skies to spring flowers popping up everywhere. I had a great time at work the past 3 days. But I sure missed you.
This morning I was on a zoom call with Faith Community Health. My friend is a Chaplain with Baylor Scott & White Hospital and she was hosting the call to teach us about calling on people who are home bound to cheer them up and check on them. I am excited to see if others want to do this too as it is all over the United States and Canada. And I already have a few people in mind to recommend that could benefit from having someone check on them. The training video that I did this morning is on the second Saturday of each month.
Then I went outside to help hubby cut back some of the plants in the yard. I will get pictures soon. But now I need to fix our meal of the day, whatever that will be, shower, and get ready for Longhorn baseball. We beat South Carolina who WAS undefeated last night. Hook 'em Horns!
May you have a pleasant Saturday day doing whatever you would like to do as you share your smile and enjoy your day the best you can and I will do the same up north. Smiles Gloria
If you didn't start out the day with a smile, it's not too late to start practicing for tomorrow. ~Author unknown
“Oh! It’s Friday again. Share the love that was missing during the week. In a worthy moment of peace and bliss.“When you start to do the things that you truly love, it wouldn’t matter whether it is Monday or Friday; you would be so excited to wake up each morning to work on your passions.
