I love to watch the storms roll in and love listening to rolling thunder and watch a good lightning show. In South Texas we had 500 acres with cattle; therefore, we were always thankful for every drop of rain!

U injoy the rain. Not I. Its 36 and light rain Cloudy.
I am so excited to turn my clocks forward and have an EXTRA hour of daylight but I will probably look like that graphic each morning next week.
Oh wait... I am an old lady! Well, a whole lot older than I ever thought I would be anyway. Who knew we would live this long... and yet, yesterday I pushed the NON-self propelled electric mower around some of the backyard to get rid of 2' weeds before the rains came again. You should have seen or heard the huffing and puffing coming from this FAT OLD LADY!
Now the weekend is almost here and so is Spring Break. My neighbor and my girls are off next week. So let the sleeping late begin just in time for loosing an hour when we set our clocks forward.
Stop and think about that one. Oh my, I am so thankful for the things from some of my answered prayers. I am also so very thankful for some of the things I didn't get.
Yes, we have everything we need. Blessings upon Blessings and lots of Hugs to you my wonderful friends. Thanks Gloria for making this graphic for us.
hope you are enjoying your afternoon. I went up this morning and saw my son and his fiancee', ate lunch with them. Then came back home. I have the laundry in the dryer and just checking on how everyone is on the Hill. Take care my friend and I will chat with you later. Many hugs, Cheryl
Guess what... we have no sunshine again! But even the rainy, dreary days can be full of color.
What about you? Do you dream in color or see all the beautiful colors when you take a walk?
Do you like to walk in the rain? Do you try to walk every day? Since we have both fallen in the last year, we are not going for a walk today.
Young kids don't need an umbrella and some don't even need rain gear. What fun to play in the puddles!
I guess we will just watch it from inside today and tomorrow and pray for protection around our home when the bad storms start to show up. Please keep praying for Sparks505. Lee hasn't posted a daily bulletin in about a week and her health hasn't been good. Thanks!
