Here we are getting ready to start a new week. Looking back on the weekend and wondering what fun did you have?
Did you watch the sun rise with a friend on FaceTime? And get to see the deer run across the road, about 9 of them?
Did you get to see your son dance with his daughters at a Granger Smith concert at Billy Bob's? And just beam with pride!
Did you get to spend the day with friends and eat the most delicious brunch in Tyler? And share your smile with a stranger on the street that led to a beautiful conversation.
Have you ever joined in prayer with a service dog? Peyton is Bill's service dog that does so many things to help him every day.
Have you been to a candy store that makes all their own candy? Our friends took us to the Lindale Candy Store and you would think you were in Heaven surrounded by chocolate and marshmallows. If you like that kind of thing!
Yes, we are very blessed and have given the Lord lots of Thank You prayers for our safe travels, for family, and for our precious friends... like you!
Hello, hope you are doing well and having a lovely Sunday.. So far mine has been a lazy one so will have to get busy soon. At least I did get the yard mowed and some weed-eating done yesterday while it was nice and sunny. It is overcast today so I'm glad I didn't wait. Anyway, hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a great week~~ hugs, debijo
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, MS. bARBIE, I pray YOU have a SPENDIFOUROUSLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a STUPENDOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
It is Friday! Let's sing about it. The weekend is closing in on us. What are you going to do?
Is it time for a haircut? Or just a new look?
Do you ever have a spa day? Tomorrow we are going to visit friends that moved about an hour or two away from us and see their new house. Of course lunch will be involved even though they say there aren't any places to eat. HA!
But we will all be together and enjoy lots of conversation and share lots of smiles as new memories are being made!
Great attitude is like a perfect cup of coffee – don’t start you day without it
It is the little things that make life rich, Little acts of kindness, A small smile that shines like the sun, Small favors gladly done, Little compliments that spread good cheer, Tiny actions that help rid the world of fear, These are the things, though quite small, That truly mean the most of all. Good morning!
So yesterday, I got new ColorStreet nails put on. So what do you think? Does this look like Easter? Here is a close up.
Today was a very busy day. Lots of time I don't leave the house for days, maybe even a week or more. Today I was out of the house by 8:15 and headed for Dr. Carey's office for Julie to draw my blood for my yearly checkup. Just getting through Rockwall and across the Lake Ray Hubbard bridge is a challenge. Almost considered "free" parking coming and going the 20 miles each direction. I did have to stop next door to the doctors office and get a hanging basket, a geranium and a couple of other plants. So it was after 10 when I got back home. Then it was off to Costco to return something and get a few things on our list... Ok I ended up with a lot more than was on the list.
Costco has the most beautiful roses. Back home to unload and put things in the freezer. Then I was off to Royse City to run the car through the car wash as I was having trouble seeing out the backup camera and rear window. I did much better only getting things on the list at WalMart. After a stop at WhatABurger it was back home for the 3rd time.
Of course, the best part of coming home is the reception you get when you walk in the door. Everybody is so happy to see you. And that is just the way I feel when I come to "The Hill" and read your comments. BLESSED!
