And yes, I know I misspelled Hanukkah in the comment. I am not a Jew so I sometimes spell it that way being I went to a school that was prominent Jewish, not necessarily by numbers but by pull.
Good morning. Happy Sunday. Today is the start of the advent for us newcomers............ and for the chosen people, it is Hannaka. Whatever you're going to celebrate, do it quickly and get to the stores and spend some money. I have nothing planned for today. Started the day off at 30° and it was a pleasant walk. I would like later to see some sunshine but we had it yesterday and I still stayed sequestered in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. So, what's the use! Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Nola Reardon just died. Her co-star Quinton just died in September. I reported it here first. Life moves on. Nothing we can do for them now. I better take breakfast.
Good morning. I dislike Saturdays! It is the only day I regularly have a schedule. It’s hard to be vigilant when we’re rushing. It’s hard to get quiet and listen for guidance when we surround ourselves with noise. Tribulations are imminent. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
A good morning and happy Friday to you. Hope all is well. Enjoy your weekend and try to get rid of some calories from yesterdays meal. Take care my friend.....George
I suppose you and your son are using the employer's truck running around and getting all of the deals in Butler and areas around the city. Pack it in the trailer.
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Barbara, I pray YOU have a TANTILLIZINGLY THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a TRANSFORMATIONAL WEEK, my friend...
Good morning. It is the Eve of Thanksgiving. I would imagine the grocery stores will be crowded today. I hate crowds, standing in line and so forth. I have been without eggs for 24 hours and feel like I'm in the desert. I find it ironic considering it wasn't that long ago I went over a year without any eggs. Fairly warm this morning for this time of year. 43° and no wind. A difference of 24°from yesterday, or whenever. In either case, it made for a pleasant walk. And yesterday was glorious, about 40° and the sun. I was able to get out the motorcycle and enjoyed the fresh air. It only seemed cold when I originally left the house. Once driving down the road, freedom was the keyword. I shall not have too many more days of this before winter arrives permanently. Of course, as I look into the future and know that if the sun were to stop working, the temperature would be less than -300° F. Now that would be bad for riding. Rumor has it that it is going to be 52° today, but no sunshine. The sun gives us a psychological edge against cold weather. Go out and finish your shopping. And then do the unthinkable. Make plans to go out and fight the crowds on BLACK FRIDAY. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
How has your Tuesday been? Since I will be baking and cleaning house tomorrow, I may not have time to visit you. And Thursday will be Thanksgiving so I know I won't be here that day, for sure. So in case I don't make it here tomorrow, let me say Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Enjoy the good food and the people you spend the day with. For my friends outside the US, feel free to have a feast and celebrate along with us. We ALL have things to be grateful for so let's party together!
