Good morning. Happy Friday. 48° going to a high of 55°later today. I went out for my exercise and the ground was wet with puddles from obviously an earlier rain. I was able to complete my protocol without moisture falling from the sky. I think the threat of rain continues until 10:00 AM. A good football game in the desert last night. My agenda for today does not exist. I may attend church this morning but that is a fluid situation. When all this nonsense about the rain is over, I may take a constitutional in the Nations. Of course that is a game time decision. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy almost Friday. How is your day? It's breezy, cool, and drippy here but my yard hasn't seen any thing more than sprinkles of rain off and on. It's a cozy sort of day and I'm enjoying! Have a nice evening.
Yes, there are some days that I wish I still drank. Today I would really like a drink.
Our wind is sustained at 28 mph with gusts from 40-50 mph. So even walking to the mailbox is dangerous. Live limbs are breaking and falling from trees.
We had to pick up something in Rockwall this morning and I thought the car door was going to snap my legs off when I got my feet on the ground. And yes, I was hanging on to the door handle as a gust threatened to blow me away.
So I am going back to cooking up some dogs... no, no... cooking up something for the dogs. And then...
I think I will relax for a while. Maybe read a good book from my Kindle in a tub of warm (not too hot) water. What about you?
We always try to add things to the grocery list before they become urgent... but, how can we be out of milk? Well, I had to meet the 2 ladies at work this morning for breakfast so milk is now back in our house.
But guess what... there was a reason for a breakfast "butter up". I am working most days in December. Crazy Tisha is moving to East Texas so I will work with Kelly until she can find a replacement. I love working when they need help and I know it won't be forever. So I am excited but also very sad!
So we got 8/10" rain early this morning as the front came through and it was fairly slow and soaked in. Now the sun is shining and at noon we are only 62°.
Just makes me feel like dancing!
What are you cookin' up for this weekend? I sure hope it is something fun and tasty. As soon as you are done cooking and putting up all the decorations, why don't you relax.
After all, you deserve it. So enjoy the rest of the week and the weekend and the kids (ding dong) ringing your doorbell. Because it just might be me ringing your doorbell.
Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. It is 44° and it seems nice out in comparison to yesterday morning. I'm off to a good start as I have found two yolks in my egg. I purchased jumbo eggs last week and already it has paid a dividend. I have found when you have two yolks in one egg, it is good luck for three years. Yesterday when I attempted to start my agenda, I had to warm up the car to defrost my windows. A waste of time as when I went over to the church, there was a note on the door indicating services would be in the church hall. I do not do that and so consequently I had to move on to the next item on my agenda. This morning I was thinking of going again especially since there will not be frost on the window. I took the liberty of altering my route on my exercise to see if the note is still on the door. It is. Consequently, instead of disappointing myself again I shall remain sequestered in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. I may go for a constitutional around the neighborhood later as the temperature will zoom to 58°, maybe. Game time decision on that. Something has happened to the sun as it will not be shining in my backyard today. I am hearing rain on my window right now and it was not in the forecast. Fortunately it held off until after completion of my protocol. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! Postscript: I no longer hear the rain on my window.
I kinda hope they win since they got a sorta bad deal this some but have been bussy trying to get the outside done before winter still have to prune 2 trees and put the strawberries and blueberries to bed
