Finally got all the mail opened yesterday. Caught up with everyone on the phone after I got home. Then today we ran errands, Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, gas, Ace Hardware, pick up prescription, Tacos from Rosa's.
After eating lunch, it feels like nap time. We had a little quick shower while we were running errands but I don't think our house got any. But that's OK because yesterday we had 2.4" of rain.
Guess I had better go check on the flower pots kids and see if anyone needs watering or water poured out. I have to get moving before I fall asleep. Besides, I need to see what you have been doing lately!
I can't say we got rain yet today but the sidewalk is damp. The next 10 days hold a bit of a chance in them and what a Blessing that is for us in July in Texas. Tomorrow will be my last day of work at Edward Jones for a while (until Tisha needs some days of vacation again). I truly love working there with and for Kelly even though it puts me behind getting something done at home.
Yesterday I got a plant put in a pot and moved to the front sidewalk. It was a very humid day and after a couple hours outside, I could smell myself. But the Strawberry plant with babies hanging all around got the babies put next to a new pot for them to take root and the table got somewhat cleaned off.
Just look at all the different colors of this rose as it blooms. It needs both sunshine and rain to accomplish all this. Hubby and I were just talking about how much we missed dancing. I am jealous you know!
So be sure to share your smile each and every day with everyone you encounter and it will be returned to you 10 fold. I'll see you in a couple of days! Especially with the help of a certain fairy that keeps disappearing.
If your mind insists on reminding you of the negative, have the strength to remind it of your greatness and courage to overcome yourself every day. Happy weekend. Kisses with affection.
Good day to you and wishing a happy weekend for you. Nice weather here and rain coming in for next week. We've been plagued with some of the Sahara dust the last few days. Woke up to a warm house Thursday morning . Thought the AC was gone being about 20 years old but the AC guy got it going and so far it's doing fine. Going to break down and get a new unit this fall when it cools down.....Have a great week and take care......George
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Barbie, I pray YOU have a SALUBRIOUSLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SCINTILLATING WEEKEND, my friend...
