Hello Karen--Saturday was cold rainy day here in MI. also. Today was cold,damp and foggy. Made it to church and back. Was tired so took a rest but thought better answer some comments. I was out on my bicycle today,we will not get many (if any) more days like today until the spring. The tempertature reached 57,, that is way above the norms for this time of year.

Always a treat to hear from you. All is going along as it should here, apart from a lousy chest cold. I did go to the doctors on Thursday and he prescibed meds that are helping clear it.
We are a little colder than normal for this time of year, but not too cold.

I was dumb founded to hear Canada had an Earthquake, Tiss raining here today & proably all weekend, Gray with empty trees, so blah ... Going to pick up all the fixin's for my Fruitcakes, this afternoon, I make several mini's for freezer, generly last me till April, a lot of work goes into them so make my time worth while. Have one ? Hi there, I love fruit cake, my dad made the best that I have ever had. I know it is alot of work, but well worth the time. I never could figure out why so many people do not like them. Ever so often I buy one (they are not cheap).
The earthquake in Alaska was a bad one. I got stationed in Fairbanks in 1964, just after the big earthquake they had then. A lot of damage and at this time of the year, it is bad and very cold there. I will keep them in my prayers.

Hi Karen, I am sure that Buddy will be a very happy cat. The weather here has been nice, that is that it has been raining for a few days and more to come in the forcast. Temps in the mid to high 60*s.
Good Morning Karen, enjoy Buddy the kitty. I have 3 cats in all. One is a stray who won't let us pet her. It's raining here and more on the way. We are soggy through and through. Hope your weekend is good. love, Beth
