Yesterday was a bad hair day. We had winds between 40 & 50 mph. It was one of those days where you could hardly get the car door open and then it would try to blow off the hinges. As I was getting in with my hair blowing every direction and shutting the car door, my hair got caught in the door. I had to get the door open again and get my hair out in order to move my head without loosing a lot of hair. Ok, just a strand or two. Gotta love Texas weather. Today is calmer with some sun and even though the rain is coming next week, we should have highs in low 50's to mid 60's for the next 10 days. So, if you don't like your weather come on over for a visit and we will sit on the back porch with blue skies and let all our worries drift with the clouds as we watch the birds fly by.
You to Mary Kay, it's going to be a quiet one my son is gone for the week and the weekend too. I hope we don't have any problems with the swearing in of the President. They are going to have the national guard there, I hope that will help the problem. Stay safe, stay home if you can. Hugs.

good morning! MK we had a nice day yesterday we took down our outside Xmas decorations then we came inside and watched a little TV and then we started to make a batch of wine so it'll be ready for Easter then we washed the bedding and had supper.Today we started the fermentation process for the wine and it'll de done fermenting in about 7-10 days then we'll sweeten & filter it then bottle it and let it age until Easter.Tonight we're having black beans & rice with hot turkey sausage for supper and after we eat we'll take our showers then go upstairs and go into the bedroom and watch TV while we play games on my phone for the rest of the evening until we're ready to go to bed. Hello happy weekend for you. Cool nights here then warming up into the 50's and 60's. Went the other day for the Corona 19 vaccination and had no adverse affects at all then go back first of February for the second. have a great weekend and start for the new week.....George
