Born in Seattle and spent most of my life in that area. Retired from the Bell System after 36 years. Served in Alaska during WW II. That's where I met my wife, Jean. We met at a dinner party in Sitka where I was stationed at the time. Celebrated our 64th wedding anniversary a few months ago.
