Evening Cheryl - I had a busy day and hope now that I'm settled down, I can relax and get some comments out. I was up past 1 last nite getting some of them out. I write to each person personal notes so it take time. It was a beautiful day it said 69 in the car, but it felt warmer than that. Had a doc appointment at 1:30 and honey went with his brother. I've been tired for a while and the last 2 times I was there my BP has been pretty low -plus the kind of BP meds I'm on, helps lower it even more so she changed that to regular. I'm supposed to be taking B-12 shots but ther was a mix up in the med she ordered and when it finially came - about 2 days ago, there were no syringes in them. So she ordered them today from Walmart and by the time I got home, they called to say they were ready. Well that will be for tomorrow. Stopped at the thrift store and bought 2 sweaters - one was a from a maker that I buy from at a regular store. Made spaghetti as I has sauce that was frozen and with all the dogs we are constantly busy with them but overall they are good. Had two pee spots on the kitchen floor and while Rich was getting his shows on the puppy pooped on the rug. Oh well, like I said, they need to be cleaned anyway. I also stopped at an antique store but didn't find anything - well I did but I didn't buy them. So tomorrow I'll go pick up my syringes that are not covered by my medical. Oh well, they used to be cheap but now who knows. Have a pleasant evening/nite. Hugs, Wendy
After our 2.5" of rain, it is beginning to feel like Fall here. Right now, I have at least 12 things on my list and only about 4 things crossed off. I just keep getting farther behind at home. Does anyone want to pay some of my bills? Oh with their $$$?
Gosh I miss being here every day! You know I love being at work but I miss your posts, your text and hearing your voices. I just can't tell you enough how much your being in my life means to me!!! I'll be back soon. Smile and share your love with others.
Hey Cheryl - would you believe I went into the attic and fouund a few more thing that I ecorated with. My friend made two wall hangings for Halloween that I hung up and a couple more pumpkins for outside - one didn't light up so the others I put outside. I am going to go outside and take a look. Rich fried up some chili cheese brats that I got at the butcher shop yesterday along with sauteed seasoned onions for dinner and I made maccaroni salad earlier in the day. Other than that I didn't do a thing an that is just fine!! Have a goo nite.
The wind has been blowing these past days so loads of fall leaves are on the ground. Once more is it raking time to pile those leaves and throw oneself onto the pile. Such fun ! Ha Ha
Instead of coffee this morning I have decided to have spot of tea. I am trying for the first time from YOGI tea's an elderberry lemon balm immune & stress blend of tea, as we are at 33 F at the moment, to make my day abit special. May you have a glorious day enjoying your fall day. Smiles Gloria
Perhaps it is while drinking tea that I most of all enjoy the sense of leisure. ~George Gissing, The Private Papers of Henry Ryecroft, 1903
Hi ya Cheryl. We had a little rain today but not much. It was a cloudy day till 6 o'clock just in time for the sun to go down. Went for x rays of my hips as I have a lot of pain and problems walking at times. I know I have arthritis and it's bone on bone but this is getting ridculous and vacuuming AND mopping make it worse. No plans for tomorrow but see the doc on Thurs. Went to the butcher's and got pork chops on sale for $2.19 I think - can't remember - picked up a 6 pack of nice healthy ones and found a new recipe for baked ones - easy too and so delicious! Moist and very tender. We both enjoyed them. Sent the recipe to my sister as herr boyfriend is a picky eater but does like chops - she usually does shake and bake - I think she'll like these and she's having chops tomorrow. No plans for tomorrow - hope you have a nice day.
Rain started just as I got to work this Monday morning. It rained on and off most of the day and at times it was heavy rain. However, people in Dallas just don't know how to drive on the slick roads. There were 2 major wrecks on my way home that had I-30 shut down in two areas within a 3 mile stretch of the highway. So far, we have been blessed with 1.5" with more that might fall tonight as the cool front arrives. I will try to check in on Wednesday!
Fall is a magical time of beauty! I sure hope you are enjoying each and every day. I love working but it is very tiring for an ole lady! Thanks for checking on both of us and just for being my friend. See you soon!
