Took honey out for a late birthday dinner - we both had the ribeye and it was sooo goood. Then we went to the VFW - it was a small crowd but one of our friends who works for the Coast Guard and is out of work due to the shut down, and honey paid for his drinks, the commander went in the back and filled a big trash bag with lots of food and him and another guy gave him some money to help him out. He didn't want to take it, so they told him it was a loan. He was overwhelmed to say the least. We also told him to go to several food banks so his money his girlfriend makes doesn't have to go for so much food.
Dry here and near 60 today and warmer tomorrow but rain. We are already sinking in to the ground!!! Have a good nite and a wonderful day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy
