Good Caturday Morning to YOU!  Guess what started about 3 am this morning?

It has been pouring cats and dogs on and off all morning!

At about 5:30 am my bird was singing loudly in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning.  He sings almost every morning.

I hope that all this rain will make the buds on all my rose bushes just pop open.

Before this rain is done, all the plants and entire yard should be standing in water.

I am hoping that you have a beautiful dry day full of sunshine!  In my mind that is what our day is going to look like.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

Another rainy day.

04/04/2025 15:18:41

It is Friday!  If you have nice weather, count your blessings and enjoy the day with your pets!

Nothing like the love from your pets.  They are always excited to see you.

Where are you?  Don't you know it is time for our treats?

We know you will be coming through that door just any minute!

We thought you left us forever and weren't coming back and we got hungry!

Love is what it is all about... unconditional love!

We love each other and especially you!  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

Stopping by to say hello. God Bless you.

04/03/2025 18:17:15

Love your Spring theme!

04/03/2025 18:16:27

I will and you stay safe too. I hope you didn't get too hard. I see some states around us got hammered.

Mother Nature is very confused on this first Thursday of April.

We had such HIGH winds that all the dandelion seeds have been scattered all over our yard and throughout the neighborhood.

As you can see, Carly is guarding all the dandelions in our yard.

Then the clouds come and go in all colors and shapes.  Just looking down on us and laughing.  We are going to be in the mid 30's on Monday Morning.

But about the time we all settle down in our chairs, three, yes 3 of the loudest cracks of thunder rock our world and we get a 10 minute shower.  Then it is over and the gray sky is bright again.

Then sure enough, the Cardinals are back out drying their wings, eating seed, and listening to the mockingbirds sing the most beautiful songs.

Wednesday already and time to make the most of the week.

Laughter is so good for the soul.  Wind and dirt sure make the head hurt and nose run.

So glad the words dating and gym are not in my vocabulary.

Has your day been a wacky day?  We just go from cold to hot to wind to rain.  Then we start all over again.

Good Morning to you!  Welcome April to Thunderstorms and Hail this week in the DFW area and that ain't no April Fools Day joke!

I hope your first week of April is colorful but without damage from Mother Nature and crazy weather.

I do love all my giraffe graphics and I thank those that keep feeding me more of them.

I hope you love this story as much as I do.  Sorry it is large but I wanted you to be able to read it.

Giraffes are just one of the most unique animals.  When you stop to think how different they all are, who but God could have come up with so many?

I never get tired of watching them walk, eat, drink and do it all with such Grace.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

What's new... rain, too?
Wind & more, storms galore!
Bye, March.Welcome, April:)

03/31/2025 15:32:17

Last day of the month and we are saying Goodbye to the windy month of March.  Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new month of rainy April showers!

Before you know it, Summer will be here and we will be cutting lots of flowers to share with others.

If you miss a day of walking the yard and looking around, the flower from yesterday will be wilted and a new one will have opened.

Or a new baby Cardinal will have been born and might be testing its wings out while looking for food.

There is always something breathtaking that God will put right in front of you if you just take the time to look.

Yes!  He loves us and wants the very best for us.  So if something happens, like a pacemaker, look for the good, like all the wonderful people you got to meet and share the love of Christ with during the journey.

Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

It is warm here but cloudy. May hit 70. Rain earlier. Looks like the big rain is due later. Could be nasty. My daffodils are blooming too. Surprising since some frosty mornings this week. Making mashed potatoes and gravy to go with the pork chops.

Good Morning my sweet friends.

I am trying to catch you at a good time on this beautiful Caturday!

I just want to thank you for all the messages, prayers, graphics, love and kindness you have shared with me.

I am still trying to take things slow, stay caught up on messages, and things around the house.

If I am not here for a day, don't worry, we just have an appointment or. something came up.  I will still be saying a prayer for you.  I am really doing very well and have never had any pain or felt bad at all.

I might even be hiding in plain site like Wendy's Bebe.

If I can't lift my arm high enough to be able to color my hair pretty soon, you won't recognize me anyway.  I will be grey headed instead of red headed!  Love ya!  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

This is what I am trying to do.  My advice, "Give It A Try"!

I took videos of some of our birds in the backyard as I sat in the sun letting the incision on my shoulder heal in the sunlight.  Then I took a screenshot from the video to share a few of our many birds, the more colorful ones.

I had taken a few pictures of some of our plants that are blooming.  My girlfriend from Lubbock and I were texting "Spring Flower" wars.  I love taking & sharing pictures and I hope these make you smile.  Have a GREAT evening.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

Barely made 40 yesterday. A few flurries in the morning but it all melted away. In the 20's this morning. They say should get into the 50's. Same story here for the storm on the weekend. Have to wait and see. That's great you have a nice supply of pecans.

03/26/2025 20:39:00

All my test results from the hospital stay came back in the good range except for the troplini which can indicate a heart attack.  The wonderful cardiologist said it could have been a stress attack from the heart rate being too low.  Thank goodness my Apple watch notified me.  I will do a stress test in her office but because I have a pacemaker now, it will be a little different than most do.  We will know more in about 3-4 weeks after it is done.  Thank you for all the prayers and messages.  I hope to be back on a regular basis soon.  I am still trying to catch up at home.    Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

03/25/2025 16:00:07

I just wanted you to know that I have a 2:30 appointment today with a "new to me" cardiologist.  I don't know what to expect yet.  I will send a more updated history after today if at all possible.  Those that have my phone number know that if I can't get back to my computer, I will text an update.

The pictures above are from this morning that I hope you will enjoy as much as we did.  If you saw the crescent moon this morning, we were both looking at the same moon.

Thank you for all the posts, pictures, prayers and love you have sent.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

It's Monday again, Gayle! Hope you make
another week of awesome memories:)

03/24/2025 17:46:11

Made it 49 but wow is it ever windy! They say maybe snow Wednesday. Mother Nature always gets the last laugh!

There is bacon in the potato soup I'm going to try too. It's for cooking in the crockpot. Not sure when exactly I am going to make it. I think I need a couple ingredients yet. I'll let you know. Made it to 50today but is in the 30's now. So far no snow. They said it wouldn't be much anyway.

03/22/2025 18:58:52

Soon flowers will be blooming, Gayle, that
other life depends on... including our
enjoyment of them:) Happy weekend!

Happy Spring!  If these were in my yard, there wouldn't be a leaf on them.  The wind is terrible.

I hope to hear something about my computer tomorrow.  We will see.

If you read the bulletins posted, you know I was in the hospital.  I went to the ER Sunday morning.  On Monday afternoon, I had a pacemaker put in.  Happy St. Patty's day to me.  I want you to know that I had almost NO symptoms.  My Apple Watch told me 3 times early Sunday morning that my heart rate dropped below 40 beats for over 10 minutes.

I got home Tuesday afternoon.  I am doing fine.  Wednesday I spent getting things caught up like paying bills, going through mail,  and getting the APP for the pacemaker finally set up.

I hope this is Thursday and I get it sent to each of you.  Thank you for the prayers and love that you have shown.  I am working on getting strength built back up.  I hope some time soon to be able to send my daily emails/posts.

03/17/2025 20:00:54

Happy Monday/St. Patrick's Day!! Hope you are having a good start to the new week. Been raining here.  Praying for all those affected by the severe storms that have been causing such destruction.  Take care, and stay safe~~~ debijo
