34 here with a little rain. Up north from me getting hammered with snow. At least Paisley ate something. Poor girl having such a rough time. Sorry to hear Judy's family is sick. All kinds of illnesses are around this time of year. Hope you have time to get some chinese. I haven't had any for quite awhile. I had blood draw Friday, see my doctor for check up this coming Friday. Stay safe and warm my friend. xxo

Happy new month!  We are starting out cold this morning, near freezing, but it will be our last for the next 10 days.  

I got my page changed for the season of love!  Valentine's Day is less than 2 weeks away.  Have you made reservations to take your sweetie out somewhere?  

For us it is just an excuse to go out to lunch for a delicious meal together like we do every week.  

After all these years, the feelings just keep growing stronger because we have to rely on each other more and more.  

If you don't have a spouse, you can still find someone to share the day with just to show them how important they are in your life.

We are having a wonderful ending to the first month of 2025.  

Carly and J Lo were outside on their big bed enjoying the warmer weather in the 50's.  

However, they did not enjoy the thunder and lightning and loud pouring rain from 9 pm until 6 am the next day.  

I love thunder & lightning and our 5" rain gauge was overflowing the next morning.  

We woke up to gray skies but most of the rain had soaked right into the ground. 

After all, look how beautiful the evening turned out.  God's blessings of rain with a magnificent sunset to follow.

Good Wednesday Morning!  It is time for coffee to help us warm up.  

You can also bake gingerbread men to warm up the kitchen like my friend, Julie, in Lubbock.  

Do you have blue skies?  Even if it is cold, maybe it is a good day to get out.  

Do you like to ice skate?  Just look at the colors the sun can make in cold weather!  God is quite the artist.  

Is winter a good time to travel, that is if you don't mind the cold?  A train trip to see the scenery is always a fun time.  

So whether you are a homebody that loves to cook or someone who likes being out in the cold weather, have a fun day!  Blessings & Hugs!  

Tuesday is our favorite day because we go out to get Tacos.  Every day we love to share our smiles and let our light shine brightly.  

We always enjoy people and showing love to them and then seeing a frown turn into a smile.  

You never know what others are going through when you cross their path.  So share your peace with them.  

Teach your children to be kind and do what is right by showing them how to treat others.  

All of life starts with believing in yourself and showing others the right way to behave.  

That includes dancing and singing and praising the Lord.  They already know just how crazy you are, so show them.

Another chilly start at 16. They say we will get above freezing today. Watched the football games yesterday and made a nice day of relaxation.

Just making my weekend rounds. Hope all is well your way and you are staying warm. Cold here in Oregon. Mid to upper 20's at night, and now that the freezing fog is gone and the sun can shine during the day the temps have creeped up in the 40's during the day.  Still too cold for my liking but that's Winter for you.  I'm sure it is plenty cold in other areas as well.  Anyway, hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a great week ahead~~ debijo

It is 30 here and sunny. I see we may see a 40 or two this week. I sure hope so. I imagine if that is the case we could get rain here too. Sorry you dropped your phone and can't get to it. I've been doing the same thing, this cold weather has me not going outside unless I have to. Easy to get a nap in too lol. I did see my neighbor out today. First in a long time. It did make it to freezing late in the day. Back in the 20's this morning lol.

It costs a fortune to fill up those trucks. And the cost of the rigs if you own one. 29 currently, hopefully we will make it to the freezing mark.

Caturday is upon us so let's get up and find something to get into today.  

The first thing, no matter what day of the week, is always coffee.  

Then, once we are outside, that is when we hunt for something fun to do.  

Are there any instructions on how to do a Snow Angel?  

Then just shake it off and let's go back inside and get out of this cold weather.  

Come on follow me, I know where the kibbles are hidden.  

My wish for you this Friday is that your temperatures have warmed up.  

For your weekend, I wish you loads of sunshine to put smiles on everyone's faces.  

We know that Old man Winter is not done with us yet as Spring is not just around the corner.  

But I hope you see lots of birds and animals today that are out enjoying the warmer weather.  

I pray that if you do still have roads covered in ice and or snow that your travels are blessed and you make it home safely.

We're up to 22 degrees. Had some sun this morning but it's all gone now. They snow is going to roll in later.
I did not know they seperated like you saw on Youtube. I always wondered what it is when it say "by products". For dinner I am going to make potatoes and veggies with the ham. And apllesauce of course.

Good Tuesday Morning!  How about a ride on the beach with me today?  

Of course it has to be someplace warmer than most of the beautiful graphics going around right now.  

So for me, it is a good morning to sit and read all day long, like my online daughter, Jo, shared with me.  

I can always just look outside to see the birds that love every season, even a snowy winter.  

Or look over at the beautiful Amaryllis that loves to bloom inside during the cold winter days that are outside.  

And I am blessed to be able to send Hubby to the mailbox to retrieve the packages and mail as I wait for his speedy return, fixing some nice Hot Chocolate and ...  

I wonder what blessings this week will bring us.  

It was a beautiful day yesterday with sunshine and mid 50's.  The birds had so much fun eating seeds!  

The bright red color of the cardinals getting on and off the feeder always catches your eyes.  

As well as all the little bitty birds going from the feeder to the ground so as not to miss a bite.  

Birds singing and feasting in winter is just another reminder that it is 2025!  Have you dated anything yet to remind you of the new year?

Caturday is here again on this cold January of 2025.  Do you have weekend plans?  

If not, come on over and we will sit by the fire for a while.  Do you like coffee or tea or maybe some hot chocolate?  

I can tell by the chocolate on your face already which one you prefer!  

Well, would you look at that, someone has already been in the coffee bean this morning.  

What are you guys doing in the pantry?  Don't eat it all because I need my coffee every day.  

Oh what the heck, let's just go back to bed for a while and take a short nap to start this weekend off right.
