I survived the hot weekend, lol 2 cool showers a day & staying in air-conditioning, as much as possible, seemed to do the trick... Luckily we're supposed to have a much cooler week :)

WE HAVE BEEN SO HOT THIS WEEK IN THE UPPER 90'S THAT HAVING A FEW UPPER 80 DAY WILL SURE BE NICE. THE HUMIDITY HAS BEEN SO HIGH. YOU SHOULD COULDN'T STAND TO GO OUTSIDE. Hi there TP so nice to hear from you I know you are busy all the time but so nice you took the time to drop a note all around. You areally are the busiest woman I know, doing all your repairs around the place, So glad to hear you had the cataract done, I am sure you feel better about that.
I have no choice about using a container for my veggies, I am in an apartment and grow some tomatoes , lots of herbs and flowers.Have to have my flowers as they are good for the soul. You keep up the good work there and hopefully you can drop round a bit more now. take care and have a great weekend.

I don't know you, but I LOVE your comment on Country Music asnd thank you for your encouragment, as I do not follow or truly enjoy "twangy Country" or beer drinking tunes...LOL Having listened to ALABAMA (A band that has been followed & reported publicly on no songs done about "done me wrong" or "divorce" etc. etc. as since 1980-ish I've really stayed with "mellow", "happy with the world most times music" which has increased with age...Romance, OK - "Silver-haired Daddy of Mine," OK- NOT 'working on the chain gangs", etc "Angels arand us" by them to me means people who have gone out of their way to be kind and thoughtful to others - that's the way I look at the particular songs of each artist- as for Trump, the old saying is "keeping a knife twisting on your tongue" is not for me (that's a purely personal feeling about him)...as I approach 83, I have lots of time to think and try to not step on any toes along my road of thinking, and just want to close with "I love your Profile Page - you're very talented in my book and a quality person"!

Hello hot weekend how are you ? We watched the fireworks from our house as they were at the golf course which is about 6 blocks from us. There was a bunch of them set off which generally indicates the last of display & we were wondering why the display seemed shorter this year & found out there was a malfunction that set them all off causing a grass fire but the fire dep't. put it out quickly as they were there on the scene . Got the yard done early yesterday before it got too hot . All this week to be high 90's. Have a great weekend........George

Starting the new month with typical July hot temps. Some of you will be really steaming. Our addition will have an annual parade where if you want you can paticipate & the kids decorate their bikes,wagons etc. goes to the park where there'll be hot dogs drinks & games.
