Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its a hot 101* here. At least it isn't humid. Had a busy morning, then came home and took a nap. Feeling rather refreshed from the nap. Got anything planned for this week? We have a trip to Oklahoma City on Wednesday. My hubby has a doctor's appoinmnet on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. He broke his colar bone last year at the end of October and its still bothering him. So that will be a long day for us. Not much else going on, just staying inside where its cool. Our next electric bill is going to be awful with the fans running all day and all night and the air conditioner running during the day. After all, swinging into a new week right will set the tone for the entire week.
Because sometimes before you get things marked off your list for Monday it will be time to say goodnight. The next thing you know it is Friday again and time to party the weekend away. So get some sleep now.
Dropping by to say hello and wish you a Happy Sunday.. Hope all is well with you and your family. Had a few overly hot days this week, Tuesday evening at 9:00 it was still 108 outside. Just didn't want to cool down. Thankfully it has dropped back down to the mid 90's the last couple days. It was really smokey out on Friday. Wind blowing the smoke up from the fires in Northern CA. Not much else going on around my neck of the woods, just trying to muster up some energy to get some things done before the weekend is over. What a way to start the week or end the week... OK, to start or end any day.
Both coffee and a good book are very high on my list of favorites.
Of course, flowers and hummingbirds are also very high on my list.
Our dogs are always at the door to greet us when we come home. And there is nothing cuter than a puppy or a baby of almost any kind.
You should already know by now that Giraffes are very high on my tall list too.
As you have guessed by now, I have a very long list. Pictures and Life are also high on my list. However, Jesus is at the very top! I can't wait to see Him face to face.
Hope your Saturday was a good day. It was relly nice here with lower temps and a nice breeze. Honey's daughter and boyfriend came and weeded all around the house and weed eated the little garden out front. It looks a hundred times better as it was way overgrown. They did an amazing job. I bought everyone subs for lunch and we were all pleased. Have a lovely nite and weekend. Hugs, Wendy
