Went up this morning and spent some time with my son and his wife. Had some fun with their dog. She is quite a hyper dog and lots of fun. Now I'm home getting my housework done. Hello Pal, well it's nice you had some trick or treaters at least. We had 5 in all and I used most of 2 bags of candy for them. We had just a small amount leftover. I also made oatmeal raisin cookies that day. Hope the lady made something good for your Dominoes supper last night. I laughed about you not wanting cabbage soup! I bought the stuff yesterday to make cabbage i a pot. It's kielbasa, cabbage, onions and potatoes and w really like it. It's kinda like soup I guess but heartier. On Sat. we did not go to the Holiday Open House because i had my dates mixed up. It's NEXT weekend! Instead we attended a quilt show (I'm obsessed with quilts) It was pretty small and not that much to it but we bought some raffle tickets there, the prize a huge handmade quilt of course. Hope I win! Then we ate lunch a new Irish Pub that openend this Summer. It was quite good. We didn't drink anything but sweet tea. I'm not a drinker and hubby had to drive. Thanks for your friendship.. Finally took down the outside Halloween decorations today. I've decided to leave the pumpkins out there. I have orange lights around one of the windows and I'm still turning those on. After all, orange is for Thanksgiving too. That's my excuse for the lights :) It's always been hard for me to let go of things and I'm even worse when it comes to Christmas decorations.. We ordered take out last night. I got baked ziti with hot sausage. The sausage was a bit tangy, but very good. The portion was huge, so I could only finish half of it. Did you ever make baked ziti before? I know you like to cook, so I assume you have.. If I remember correctly, I believe you have a dominos game tonight. Wishing you lots of luck.. Hugs, Darlene

How do you feel after that extra hour of sleep? Do all of your clocks change automatically? Some of mine do but I am a clock nut and it takes me a while to get the 12 changed that are not automatic.
Some of mine are unusual. I have a Seiko wall clock that on the hour splits apart, twirls around and plays music and then goes back together.
I have a grandfather clock that belonged to my parents, a mantel clock they gave us as a wedding gift, and a cuckoo clock that belonged to my grandparents. I have multiple clocks in every room.
To me clocks and coffee just make the world go around. So now I am off to get more coffee and enjoy the rest of my Sunday Blessings!
