My Boxer-Gretchen passed away October 17th,2012.She was the best dog and companion I could have ever asked for.She was loved by anyone who knew her.I love her and miss her more than words can say.
She was beautiful,strong,wise and amazingly graceful.Her loving gentle kisses on my eyelids in the morning will be missed...

I am a private person so writing on these things about myself isn't really my thing, but I will try.
I am a bit of a perfectionist,type A personality.I am a reformed workaholic.I used to work as a Supervisor for a privately owned Company. At age 43 I became ill and by 2004 was unable to continue working.A wake-up call to examine my life. I don't think anyone's last words are..."Gee, I wished I would have worked more." I realized that I had put myself 110% into my job and that had left no time to build on the other areas of ones' life.
I am fighting several life altering illnesses, but I refuse to let that define me either.There is more to me than that. I am at the beginning of a new chapter in my life now.I intend on enjoying every day to the fullest! A positive attitude is the Key.

I don't like it when I see such a beautiful creature as an elephant is starved or slaughtered for the ivory of their tusks.National Geographic has a moving article about how huge this problem is-Give it a read.Prepare to be horrified.I was.
How can we stop this?

I like beading,sewing,crocheting and DIY Projects.I would love to take a class on tiling.I am interested in learning to do more projects with wood and making lamps from things that create cozy patterns of light.
