Dedicated to my Favorite Scrooges!

I love Christmas Carols in November, I love the pretty lights, christmas trees shining in the windows, and the hush of a snow covered morning with the mechanical reindeer scattered about on the lawns in our little town. I love hearing something positive on the news and television, like coverage of the parades, the Christmas Angel Trees, upcoming Christmas movies and chocolate and cookies and gingerbread men! And I love the anticipation of festivities that bring people and families together!... Read More

On Saturday December 23, 2007 Kyle was down in the woods cutting firewood with his Granddaddy when his chain saw got him on the left leg and tried to cut it in half.  The Doc put 19 stitches in his leg and said it they had used the old way to stitch it he would have had to use around 250 stitches or more.  We took him a sack of candy to try and keep him sweet for a while so he won't run his grandmaw Evelyn ragged.  Below is a picture of Kyle and two of his pups taken little over a... Family: Delights and Problems
Posted On 11/25/2008 11:03:07 by NurseArtist
This past week has been an emotional roller coaster in our family.  We've had some great times together, celebrating birthdays and babysitting the grandchildren, attending ballgames, and just stopping by for a few moments of chat with our kids and grandkids.  Our local high school won second place in the State I-A football championship on Saturday afternoon.  We are very proud of them.  I had several nephews and cousins' children playing. On the other hand, we've had some rea... Read More
