Hello to who ever is going to be reading this.
I am really not sure how to start this but here goes.
I doubt that anyone will take the time to read all of this but at least I said what needed to be said. I do hope you find the time to read this.
As you know I have made this website once again for the 4th of July 2008 dedication tribute for the troops.
Well when I was making this website I do a lot of research of facts and to also help those who do actually read the website.
In doing that I went to a website called Any Soldier.com and I was checking out all the pages and I came across a video that was on the website, so I sat and watch the video. Now I did not know what I was going to expect but I sat and watched the video with tears falling down my face as I listened and I heard that the troops think that people don't care.
http://notoverthehill.com/videos/id_1786/
http://4thofjuly.bravehost.com/Help-The-Troops.html
That video was on my mind a lot that day, and then I came online in Paltalk and went into a room called??? I saw a nic that looked like a troopers nic and to cut a long story short I was speaking with him and I wanted to let him know about the upcoming room for all his unit and if he can let others know.
He told me he was >> IN AFGHANISTAN AT THE MOMENT I WONT RETURN TILL DECEMBER 12TH
And that his baby girl took her first steps that day and I could feel his pain that he missed this special day.
He shared pictures with me of his little girl, his fiancée and of himself.
He further told me that his cousin had passed away recently who was overseas in the service.
He told there were 27 other troops in his division WE GOT A RECON MISSION IN HABUL KAZUR,IRAQ IN OCTOBER.
Within our conversation I asked him something that was on my mind a lot from when I have done the rooms for the troops.
You see I get bad feeds coming into the room and upsetting it, not to mention me and the wonderful people who do take the time to stay in the room and who do show support for the troops.
The bad feeds have said ..can the troops hear us, and I say yes to the best of my knowledge.
Now there was one time in the past that I actually know of that the link up could not be organised, I was advised of this, however I was asked NOT to say anything, so I didn't.
I was actually thinking myself I wonder if that is true, not that I didn't believe the person who told me,but I wanted to know for myself and my own curiosity.
So I have waited patiently over time to have the chance to ask a trooper and that is exactly what I did this night.
Heart_Of_Hush: i was told last year when i did one of the shows for the troops....there was one time we couldn't connect to the radio link up with the troops because of security
Heart_Of_Hush: does that sound about right to you
(8:18 PM) Trooper said: YEAH
Heart_Of_Hush: ok
(8:19 PM) Trooper said: SEE WE RUN OUR COMMUNICATIONS THROUGH THEM AND THE LINES ARE SECURE OFR TOP SECRET SECURITY REASONS.
So to you people that doubt or think with bad thoughts, leave well alone.
And you know what I did what I was asked to do as the issues was actually on the news world wide and that is why I did not hesitate.
It was explained to me in more details at the time.
There are times when they hear us in the room and there are times when they cannot.
Ask other troopers if this is true if you don't believe me.
Just know I do actually send the information out to many people notifying them of the rooms and its schedule but I cant make the war stop because you want it too.
So be a little patient and more understanding of their situation and instead of YOUR needs and wants.
I wish none of them was over there but all I can do is keep doing what I do best.
Now back to what I was asking him in the first place
Then I asked him about what I heard and saw in the video, I will add the text here
Heart_Of_Hush: i have read that the troops don't really know that people back home really appreciate what your doing
Heart_Of_Hush: is that right
(8:30 PM) Trooper said: YES
Heart_Of_Hush: ok
Heart_Of_Hush: i will make it more of point to make sure you all DO know
(8:30 PM) Trooper said: B/C WE GET SEVERAL BLOGS AND CALLS TO LOCAL OFFICES SAYING WHAT HYPOCRITES WE ARE FOR BEING OVER THERE
Heart_Of_Hush: ok
Heart_Of_Hush: what blogs
Heart_Of_Hush: and what calls
Heart_Of_Hush: is ok
Heart_Of_Hush: i will do my best to spread the word for you all
(8:32 PM) usmarinecorps_sgt: TY HUN
(8:32 PM) usmarinecorps_sgt: GBY
He told me it was on some military blog but he wasn't sure at the time the exact one.
These troops are doing a wonderful and very dangerous job to keep all of us safe, you may not support the war but please I ask you all to support all the troops.
They didn't make this war happen, and you know something they cant just turn it off like its water, they have to do a job whether or not they like it or not.
They can not just say I'm not doing this either, they cannot say I am not fighting, they have to whether they like it or not.
However many of the troopers are really proud and honoured to be able to save YOUR life and there buddies where possible.
Your living a normal life because of them, your in your cozy little or big house what ever you have while they live in the housing that they have.
Do you really think they like to kill people which ever side there on, do you think they like to see so many people suffering, well I don't think so.
I did some further researched into the troops signing up and you know something when they do sign up it is not to go to war, it is to learn a trade that will last them for life, it is to give them a professional trade to be able to work and raise their family and hopefully live a normal life.
When they signed up to the service they had no real idea that they was actually going to be a war anytime soon, so all you people who don't give a damn, start thinking logically.
WHY WE SERVE
Visit the above link to find out why the service men and woman do actually serve their country.
For heavens sake how hard is it.
Not everyone wants to kill a person for the sake of it.
Note: This is not the first time I have been told about this.
I can understand why they (the troops) think people don't care and or appreciate what they are doing.
Many people are too darn busy with there normal lives they don't even have the time to sit and write a darn letter.
I have read throughout the many many hundred websites that I have visited again in the past few days and on the websites, forums, message boards I read that the troops don't even hear from there own family and friends, why is that I wonder, don't you people care, maybe I am one that sees and feels what they are feeling while they are overseas.
I am sorry if my writing is harsh but gee how hard can this really be to sit down just like I am doing right now and write a letter, sign it, fold it, get an envelope and stamp it, then go to the post box and post it.
Now if you can do that just once a week I am sure the troops will see a brighter light within themselves.
To the people who do not do anything, I am going to ask you all to set a day and time each week to write a letter, and then if you can do that, then maybe send a package of every day essential items.
You can even send messages to the troops from websites who have this system.
I will be adding websites to this page so you can't say I don't know how or where.
If I can do it, you can too, just use your brain, god gave you a brain to use and I know YOU can use it very well, so please I ask of you all that don't do anything, please get off your butt and help your loved ones or even a stranger, how hard is this.
I can hear you right now saying how rude i am, but I am not being rude, I am telling you how it is, this is life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now to further on with this I was sitting on pal one night just recently and I got a PM from a friend who is on my list.
You see i had sent him the invitation to the next 2 rooms for the 4th of July Dedication Tribute to the Troops.
He has given me permission to mention his name and what we discussed so here goes.
His nic on Paltalk is box car bobby
Heart_Of_Hush: i am glad you told me
Heart_Of_Hush: good night
So as you can see by our conversation the rooms that are organised, whether they are organised by me or maybe it was someone else's are a valuable necessity for the troops.
However I do know that it was I that started the actual dedication tribute rooms at Christmas because of a bad feed, but either way I am glad that what we all do for the room does make a difference for the troops, as Box car Bobby said it may save lives, it would be a good morale boost for them as he mentioned.
So I am glad that we do this.
I want to thank every one of you who did and do come into the room to show your support for the troops, it is you that makes a difference and it is you that helps the troops with your positive comments.
The troops hear you all during the year because I record it all from start to finish just as I said before, they can go and listen from the websites that I make so they can listen at a later day and time.
Please do not copy my intellectual property being the creation/idea of the recordings.
From the recordings they can visit and hear your words of encouragement.
So thank you all so very much for helping the troops.
Now whether or not you people like what I have just written or you hate me for standing up for myself against the bad feeds in the past, I don't really care but it is neither here nor there.
The point of the rooms that is created and organised is for the troops.
God asked me to do this and I have done as he wanted me to do, I will continue to keep doing this.
So I am asking you to come in and help show the support you just may have for the troops.
Why don't you say thank you to them for what they do every day for you, for the world.
Why don't you come on in and dedicate a song or 2 or 3, maybe more.
Why don't you come on in and pay tribute to them with a song or 2 or 3 maybe more.
Please sing if you want too, speak on the microphone your positive encouraging words so they can hear your words from your heart.
