Good ole fresh from the garden meal. Green beans, new potatoes, onions, cucumbers, coleslaw and homemade cornbread ! Yummy. Add a glass of cold iced tea. Dessert is optional.

Peanut is now a "big" growing puppy of 5 months and he is so much fun and is going to be a loving companion. My daughter Lisa and family made a successful trip to Dallas last week and the doctor there stated that Lisa's MdDS was the worse case he has ever seen. He has put her on a special "cocktail" of meds and his own "recipe". Please continue to pray for her. My son-in-laws sister had a successful liver transplant at Vanderbilt in Nashville. She is stilL in hospital but appears her body has accepted the "new" liver. Please pray for her...Susan.

I am a 60 year old (as of August 2) female from SW Virginia. My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We have been married 43 years this past Dec. I was 17 years old and he was 18.
We have made it through the ups and downs and God has truely blessed us. (It is a "Down" time now.....need your prayers.) I have 2 daughters. Lisa is 39 (she is married to a "deaf" minister of music pastor" and they have our only grandchildren, Abby and Aaron. Tina is 36 and is back home with us due to a BAD marriage. I have 2 wonderful sister's older than me. Joyce lives near me in my neighborhood and Carol lives on Lake Hartwell, GA. I am so thankful to God for all His blessings He has bestowed on me. I have had a balance disability for 8 years now. Been to 4 major medical facilities BUT no answers. Thus, I purchased a red cedar walking stick from eBay and where ever I go....he goes. lol
There is a ornate bear carved on the top I call it "CareBear" because it cares for me when I go out, which is not very often. I also have a ministry I call "Psalm 23 Ministry". I am a "Prayer Warrior" and I am blessed with 2 mighty archangels that God has allowed to minister to me and to "go where I send them". I now have a "pit bull" mix puppy in my life and I am going to prove they are sadly condemned just by their breed. It is ALWAYS the owner NOT the dog that makes them mean.

God first. Family second. I like to watch my birds come to my feeder. I love my cat "Rowdy". I like to read especially the Bible. I like cold snowey days in, and all my friends here on this site. And cannot forget my "CAREBEAR" my walking staff. ALSO, MY NEW PET PUPPY, PEANUT AND MY PRECIOUS CAT, ROWDY.

Those that abuse children, seniors, and animals. I DO NOT like those that are untrustworthy !

Reading, calling my family, being a prayer warrior, and listening to the laughter of my daughters and grandchildren.
I like watching Nascar and I have rode in Dale Jr's # 8 at Concord, NC at 160 mph. WOW ! will submit a picture of that experience. Walking my puppy, Peanut and training him.
