The plants are so wilted that there are very few blooms to even smell. We have been 104°-107° with heat indexes above 115°. We no longer have a green yard; it is yellow and the grass is almost dead.
It is best just to stay inside with the air conditioner and just glance outside through the window. Then pull the shades down again.
Don't open the window! The heat will come in and no telling who else! Maybe some nosey neighbor.
Have you seen that new guy with the blue eyes that moved into our neighborhood last week? I think his name is Gus!

Hi there. I woke up a few minutes before 5 this morning to it thundering. Had a lot of flashing lightening, but unfortuntely no rain. Oh well, we have a chance for rain tonight and tomorrow so hopefully we will get some. Not a lot going on here. Got all my housework done and took a nap so I'm good for the rest of the day. Do you have any plans for the weekend? We don't, just going to be lazy. Tony has been working hard at work so tomorrow we will be lazy. Goin to get up to almost 100 this afternoon. To hot for me.
